« Nice, clean, and private cottage. Only sad part was we never were able to try the restaurant because they never plowed/opened it. Not a good spot for on-site dining during the winter. Waterfront was also snowed-in and not plowed so we never got a good look at that either. »

« Our stay was over the Labor Day weekend. We arrived late in the dark and were surprised at the view we had in the morning!! Absolutely beautiful view from the property of Lake Huron. We made a path to the lake to do some kayaking out to this little island full of rocks! It was us, the birds, and rocks! The house itself does need work. « The renovations done to this house have made it an absolutely wonderful getaway up north. The finishes and furnishings are perfect. We stayed for a long weekend with two families very comfortably. Kudos to the hosts, this was a wonderful place and we’d be happy to come back again! »

« This house was the perfect getaway destination for someone who was just looking for a rest from busy life. Walking out the back door onto the beach, feeling the breeze, and listening to the waves was beyond peaceful. The house was beautiful and had everything we were looking for. Jennie was super responsive to messages and was a great host! I hope to stay again next time I'm in Alpena! »
