« It was very convenient to stay here when visiting Mooselake area as well as the Baxter State Park. From clean kitchen and complete cooking equipments and spices to a very comfortable bedroom. There was even Reese's and nuts when we got in which was a nice touch. Highly recommend! »

« It was a bit too close to a main road so road noise could be heard, particularly when sitting on the porch. There is no handrail up to the bedroom and the steps are rather steep and dark...not a good set up for older patrons or those with mobility issues. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable and a nice area to easily walk the dogs outside. The setting is very pretty on a river and canoes and kayaks are available to use. »

« The cabin is literally right at a lake. In the morning we saw an otter and a pair of loons. I went up there to have a birthday weekend escape and to see the total eclipse. We had a wonderful time. »

« Beautiful spot on the lake, very private. Stayed with family to view the solar eclipse and it was perfect. Plenty of room - and fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, spices, etc.) and bathroom to make it easy to just arrive (best to arrive with groceries though - it takes awhile to get back to any shops!). Bald eagles (and a golden eagle sighting) were quite a bonus. »

« This hidden gem is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Right on the lake and minutes from great hiking, this place is hard to beat! Secluded yet close enough to Lincoln and Millinocket in case you need supplies or want to sample local food and beer. The water was still a bit cold so we didn't take advantage of the kayaks but would have loved to. We will surely be back another time!! »

« This was our second stay at this magical property! We were there for a long weekend with adult kids and one high schooler. Everyone had had a bit of a stressful Fall and the home in its gorgeous was the cure for what ailed us. Gorgeous, super fun, creatively designed house with some of the best views I've seen anywhere, even on gray days. Convenient to lots of great hiking and mountain biking as well as kayaking/canoeing and (for the hardier souls) swimming. Highly recommend! »

« I recently stayed at this house with a group of friends, and it was excellent for our gathering. The home perfectly met our needs, comfortably sleeping everyone. « We came up for the eclipse extended weekend and were pleasantly pleased with how friendly and thoughtful our host was. She took the time to show us around and made sure we had everything we wanted. The house was very clean and as advertised (actually it was better than pics!). We arrived Saturday evening and the host was very attentive, friendly and welcoming. They left us 2 pair of eclipse glasses, bottle of wine and plenty of kitchen/bathroom amenities. The pellet stove was simply fantastic!...

« My family ranged in age from 19 to 70 and the property provided the perfect backdrop for all our events and antics. The pond surprised us with two good catches and a few bass. We ventured out and about into the town of Lincoln, Bangor and Aroostook county. We even had several conversations with the neighbors. Thank you for the quick responses to our questions and concerns. »

« This little house is beyond cozy. It’s comfortable, well equipped, warm, and just as cute as it can be. We stayed for one night so we could attend commencement at University of Maine, but I’ll admit I didn’t want to leave. If I’m ever back in the Orono/Old Town area, this is my first choice. The only negative was that I had to leave. »

« We booked this property for 3 nights/days but stayed one night. The camp was clean, well stocked with essentials and fairly easy to find when using our vehicle's navigation system. My youngest enjoyed using a kayak for the night we were there, and the swimming area was nice. I always read reviews before I book a vacation on VRBO. Please do not underestimate the parking spaces. « We really enjoyed relaxing on the spacious porch after spending our days fishing in the area. The view of the pond and the comfortable seating were great. The kitchen is large and well-equipped, and meal preparation was a breeze. Beautiful scenery but located close to shopping in Lincoln, this was the perfect base for us to float-fish the Penobscot and East Branch. Would recommend, and would love to return. »
