This is a private two story duplex with one bedroom downstairs with king size bed and a second bedroom upstairs. The upstairs bedroom has 2 queens beds and private bathroom. The updated kitchen, luxury furnishings, premium mattresses make this a luxe option for families visiting MD Anderson. Private parking, easy access to Rice Universty, Hermann Park or walk to numerous shops and restaurants in Rice Village. This is a private 2 story unit with a modern kitchen that opens up to a family room with a flat screen tv. The furnishings are new shabby chic and very comfortable. The downstairs master bedroom has a memory foam queen size bed and its own bathroom. There is a large second bedroom upstairs with two queen beds with luxury pillow top mattresses. There is also a private bathroom upstairs and lots of closet space. This property has been designed for families visiting Tx Med center for 12 to 16 weeks of treatment at our world class hospitals. This is a private duplex with two parking space in front. It has very easy access to Tx Med Center, Rice University, and Rice Village. The entire unit is for the guest and you will not be sharing the space with the owners. Electronic lock for easy guest access. Text or call me anytime, I live in the neighborhood if you need anything. This is the most walkable neighborhood in Houston! To much to list: Over 30 restaurants within a short 3 block walk, lost of shopping opportunities in Rice Village. Five blocks from the Tx Medical Center, and a few blocks the beautiful tree lined streets of Rice University. Convenient to Hermann Park, Houston Zoo, MFAH and easy access to the metro rail train to the museum district and downtown. I recommend a car if you are here long term. This neighborhood is very walkable with easy access to shops and restaurant. It’s a great neighborhood. There is a wonderful family that lives next door and they park on the right side of the very wide driveway. No smoking, no party animals, pets on case by case basis for long term tenants. Pets accepted or denied based on breed, size, age Early check in $50 to $85 if available Late check out $50 to $85 if available Pet fee $175 per stay if approved by owner Just treat the property as if you owned it. This is a neighborhood with lots of kids and families walking dogs and visiting local cafes and shops in nearby Rice Village. My husband, adult son, and I (with our very well-behaved Aussiedoodle who obeyed the rules and stayed downstairs with the tile floors!) had the pleasure of staying in this extremely comfortable duplex over Thanksgiving. We were only minutes from our son’s family, so the location was excellent. It would have been possible even to walk to Rice Village to meet our family for dinner! There are numerous great restaurants there to choose from to dine away from the unit. The upscale neighborhood is so accommodating for walking our dog.We appreciated the extra thoughtful accoutrements, having a fully stocked kitchen with all we needed for our stay, and the comfortable bedrooms. Our host Scott was easy to contact and responsive.We definitely want to return and stay in this stylish (not really shabby!) abode for our next visit to Houston when our dog joins us. We stayed at Scott’s place while visiting family in Houston. Upon arrival the placed was spotless. This is important during these Covid times. The host was easy to reach and gave us a nice recommendation of a delicious bakery in the area. The kitchen is well equipped and the place had everything we needed for our stay. We didn’t have any issues with the property , the owner or the neighbors. After renting other properties in Florida and New England we can say this is a very nice place. The house was beautifully decorated with everything you could need. It was fun to walk to Rice village and see the shops and restaurants. The property is described as shabby chic but there is nothing shabby about it. It had everything you could need. The kitchen was well equipped and although we didn’t do any cooking it would have been fine for any cooking or baking. There were nice touches throughout the house and the overall feel was very nice. We stayed here 4 nights while attending a wedding. I was asked to arrange the flowers and did all the work at this rental. It worked perfect for our needs! Scott, the owner, was very accommodating . We would definitely rent again if we come to Houston. Stores and restaurants are within walking distance. Loved staying here! ##### karen H.
