We have a small herd of cattle, including several Scottish Highland cattle. The bulk of the land is native bush, with bush walks. Less than 1 km from the Pou Herenga Tai Twin-coast cycle way, and about 30 mins drive from both Kaikohe & Kerikeri. There is approx. 4km of un-tarsealed road to reach our place. With a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, dining room/lounge - it is comfortable, warm and homely. There is a wood-burner for those cold nights. We have cellphone reception (NOTE: phone calls require 4G VoLTE or 4G HD capability - not 3G which is the common one currently). There is also Freeview TV and limited WiFi. We have a security camera monitoring the entry gate to the property ONLY - it does NOT monitor the cottage. The house has everything you need for an enjoyable stay, and is well looked after and very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay.
