"We rented both cabanas for our family of 6 adults over the Christmas holidays. What a wonderful paradise to share together. The setting in our opinion is the best all along Placencia peninsula, private and yet still convenient to other resorts, restaurants, shops, etc. The dock and the covered seating area far out over the water was by far the crown jewel of the property. "It is an older hotel, so that was a bit of a shocker for us at first. But the location was great and after the receptionist changed our rooms we were quite happy, we got a bigger room with a smaller shower, (not to small) and shady outside sitting area, we were quite happy. The room and bathroom were clean, and because we only stayed 2 days we did not need the room-service. They did bring beach towels and emptied garbage. The breakfast was good and plenty, People lovely, and a superb location. "
