Honolulu International Airport is only a 25 minute drive. The property is well maintained with a excellent amenities. Recreation deck that has a heated outdoor pool, hot tubs, sauna, tennis court and a children's playground. The host was easy to work with. Definitely would stay here again. Plus a sofa couch but we didn’t use that. The unit has a small view of the ocean in between hotels and above the Catholic Church. There is no kitchen island but there is a round table to sit around and a large tv to watch. There is a door to the tub and toilet but the sink is open to the bedroom. The air condition was great! We did not cook or use the beach equipment but these things were there for our use. The unit was quiet and we could not hear any neighbors. Only challenge was changing from an AMEX to visa which I get but is part of doing business. I cannot say enough good things about this condo. It is clean and has all the amenities we need to enjoy ourselves here. It has the perfect water view of Waikiki beach to watch the surfers in the morning. Also has a view of the pool. The location was the best as it was walking distance to so many things including the beach to Waikiki and shave ice place. My family and I love this place so much. We contacted the manager, she got bug spray and some trap. It trapped two more small cockroaches. Bathroom curtain smelled so bad. As others have mentioned, this place is stingy with toiletry supplies - 3 oz (88ml) body wash might be ok for two people for two nights, but 3oz for three people for four nights? This would be like every person washing with 6ml. Property manager wouldn't entertain additional supplies. Note that the advertised nightly rate does not include the ridiculously expensive cleaning charges. The cleaning charges are THREE TIMES the average VRBO cleaning rates. I have stayed in Honolulu before and this place is overpriced - you get better value elsewhere. The place has a nice view and is conveniently located in the Waikiki area. The place looked clean. Unfortunately, as soon as we checked in, we did encounter a small cockroach in the kitchen area. We thought it was a one-off cockroach. However, after the first night, we did encounter a few more small cockroaches after. We did some research and saw on another website that someone had encountered cockroaches during their stay in the same building (not necessarily the same unit). It may possibly be a building issue. The property manager was responsive to our concern and offered to send pest control. We did not feel comfortable staying so we decided to look for other places to stay. We ended up having to pay for the 2 nights we stayed and half the cleaning fee and had to take time out of our 1 week vacation in Hawaii to find another place to stay on very short notice. We are disappointed that the property management team did not show compassion with our situation. A bit of a dispiriting experience. ##### Elinor Y. Paint on the inside of the front door was peeling and the bathroom pocket door had mildew growth as the bathroom venting fan was not working properly. Toiletries we skimpy with 3 oz bottles of body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The body wash only lasted a couple of days. Box of bathroom tissue only had three sheets. Wall clock did not work as it appeared to be in need of fresh batteries. Bed mattresses and bedding (sheets/blankets) were of inferior quality. Information regarding WiFi was not provided requiring reach out to the owner. Overall, a marginal experience at best and will not rebook at this location in the future. ##### David E. The condo had everything we needed, but could use some updating as the beds and bed frames seemed in need of replacing. The location can't be beat - one block from the beach and easy walking to restaurants and shops of Waikiki. One suggestion would be for agency to have a binder in the unit which explains items such as wifi access, how to work the shower, and possibly some suggestions on restaurants, shows, etc. When we arrived we had to call the property manager to ask about wifi and shower. They were easy to connect with, but a binder with that information would have been helpful for our arrival. Overall great stay! ##### Maureen H. The place was clean and an awesome view of the ocean, pool area, and street. Free parking.
