The website refers to the living room as a 3rd bedroom, insisting anything with a bed, even a sofa bed must be called a bedroom! It is really a 2 BEDROOM, 2 BATHROOM with a large living room with a commercial grade QUEEN SOFA BED and dining area. We also have a Pack n’ play BABY TRAVEL CRIB (bring your own baby sheets) and stroller available for your use at your own risk. As well as 2 rollaway cots available for a fee if needed (please notify owner in advance if needed, so you can rent from lobby office). All rooms have NEW TOTAL BLACKOUT CURTAINS. There are 2 full bathrooms with JETTED TUB/SHOWER in the master bathroom and LARGE WALK-IN SHOWER in the guest bathroom. Large flat screen TV in living rm, smaller flat screen TV in bedrms. CD, DVD player, VCR, boogie boards/beach toys to use at your own risk, desk and Piano. Modern NEWLY REMODELED FULL KITCHEN with marbled quartz countertops/ bar, and new stainless steel appliances, glass top stove.. You also have use of the 2 ILIKAI POOLS: Hibiscus pool on the lobby level, and the lounge pool on the 2nd floor (shallow with built in lounge chairs in the water. Towels provided at the pools. And we also provide each guest with one beach towel per stay. There is also a MASSAGE SPA in the lobby. This is the ILIKAI HOTEL TOWER, we are directly adjacent to the Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel, so you have most of the activities, restaurants, shops, etc. available at the Hilton as well as the Ilikai. (paddle board, surfing, surf lessons, catamaran sailing, etc, but no Hilton pool use as we have our own pools for your use). The Ilikai Hotel is home to several good restaurants, as well as DOZENS OF OTHER RESTAURANTS AND SHOPS in and around the Ilikai, including hair salon, business center, ice cream parlor, and small grocery store conveniently located in the Hotel. Only a 5 minute walk to Ala Moana Shopping Mall, with hundreds of stores and restaurants. The Ilikai is also home to the 'Hawaii Five-O' TV series, which frequently films there. Although under different management, the Ilikai hotel shares space with and is physically attached to the 5 star ultra-luxury Marriot hotel, The Modern, whose 2 bdrm suites rent for $1495+ a night. I do recommend that the owners clear out the cupboards & closets as it looks like people have shoved a lot of stuff in there. The pictures of the condo are very accurate—there’s plenty of room and it was nice and clean. The beds were comfy. But the best part is the incredible view! Coffee on the lanai each morning was lovely. And we saw whales twice from the lanai! The owner is very responsive and flexible. The views are spectacular! The kitchen was spacious and had everything you needed with the bathrooms. The floors definitely could have been cleaner but that is my only negative comment. The location is a fantastic starting point for anything you want to do on Oahu! It’s definitely cozy but it had everything we needed except coffee filters but there are so many stores around you should be able to find anything you need. The bathrooms could use some love at some point but overall everything was fine. We weren’t “home” enough to mind any of the minor things that could use some updating. The only problem I had was that the room was listed as a 3 bedroom when it is in fact a 2 bedroom, so we had to purchase a 3rd bedroom in the hotel. But otherwise, great view, great spot. Yeah it’s a bit outdated with the patio doors and master bathroom tub, but that is no reason to not stay here. The owner was super helpful and quick to respond.
