Near a shopping center, clean, good breakfasts, evenings they have a "manager's reception" with meat balls and other snacks, near Chili's (but this Chili's needs some cleaning), spacious room, with refrigerator, cookies in lobby, free internet, just upgraded the TV service, nice beds, desk situated so you cannot see TV and work on computer, but overall, nice place. Good shower head, good hot water, tub can be slippery, very friendly staff.

The staff was very friendly, which was the highlight of the stay. The room really needed to be updated and contained many items in need of repairs. My children enjoyed the pool but the lighting was very poor at the pool. I used the laundry room but the washer and dryer made mys clothes stink like cigarette smell. The coffee on the continental breakfast was very good.
This hotel proved a welcome respite after a long day of taking in Birmingham. The staff was friendly and helpful, and there are a couple of surprisingly food restaurants in the plaza where the hotel is located.
The studio room truly looked like a studio APARTMENT!
IT WAS AWESOME.
Full kitchen woth utensils!! Delicious hot breakfast. Kitchen attendant was syper friendly, paid attention to detail...
Only downside was the upstairs room sounded like they were stomping when the walked. Don't know if they were hefty but it was loud....
Homewood, a suburb of Birmingham, offers endless shopping opportunities, from a central business district that has been thriving since the 1920s to the convenient, indoor Colonial Brookwood Village. From his vantage point atop Red Mountain, Vulcan, the world's largest cast-iron statue, overlooks the city of Homewood and offers stunning views of the greater Birmingham metro area from Vulcan Park.
