"I wish we could have given more stars on this hotel because the rooms were actually very clean and lovely and comfortable. Unfortunately we were told we could check in at 3pm but when we got to the hotel, there was a sign on the door to say reception was closed until 4pm and we were given a number to call if assistance was required. We called the number several times and it went to voicemail. Luckily I have family that live just down the road so we weren’t stuck with nowhere to go. It turns out, after speaking to another guest, that the hotel was changing owners that day and the new owners didn’t arrive until 4pm. This is all well and good but it would have been nice for their customers to have been informed of this as I had a 3 year old with me that has just travelled 8 hours in the car from Dover. Due to the change over, the bar and restaurant was also closed, again this is something we were not made aware of. Overall that side of things were a little disappointing for us but I would say it was very clean and the chamber maid we met was so lovely and helpful with our little boy! I would return to the hotel and give the new owners the benefit of the doubt as this may not have been their fault."
"Excellent would definitely go again breakfast super very friendly nothing was to much trouble a fridge was provided in our as we in a heatwave at the time we were there."
"We were a family. It was a great place to stay for the night while waiting for the ferry to Dublin.
Fun time in the restaurant-pub on trivia night. Excellent breakfast."
