Looking for a mini vacation but don’t want to drive for hours? Get out of the traffic of I-95 and enjoy the slow pace as well, or if you are coming in for a family reunion, wedding or any other reason, we’ve got just what you need. Our Little Red Cottage has two bedrooms, one bath and is fully stocked with all your needs. Plush bedding, full size kitchen and lots of little extras to make you want to stay even longer. Watch the deer cross the horse pasture daily from the kitchen window or sit on the front porch with your morning coffee and enjoy it all. The front yard is fully fenced and the cottage is pet friendly, so you are welcome to bring your fur babies with you. It's a great place for the dogs to stretch their legs and play safely while traveling. We have over 160 acres of planted pines and trails, so just let us know if you want to get out and walk the trails (weather permitting). The house was spotless, and the bed was super comfy! She even had a little sound device to help you fall asleep, if needed. I stayed for a couple of days to do some writing, and the setting was perfect. It was so peaceful. I didn’t want to leave, and neither did my pup! I would highly recommend Kay’s place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. The beds were comfortable and the provided coffee was a nice addition to our morning wake up. I will recommend this cute cottage to all of my friends. Unfortunately, through no fault of the hosts, we had a late afternoon and evening of continuous hard rain. I mention this because, due to the rain, I cannot speak to enjoying the outside area, The pool house, however, was cozy, clean and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable.
