"Breakfast was amazing. The room felt new and modern, and was impeccably cleaned every day. I enjoyed the location right across the street from the beach, and close to all the shops in Plakias. I would not pay for the sea view patio again, as it was mostly a view of people’s roofs, unlike the photos online. The staff was so nice on check-in. They sat down with us and gave us fresh lemonade, which we appreciated. Later on, I had a few simple questions for the front desk and got responses from staff that were irritable and even condescending. Maybe everyone was in a bad mood since it had been raining, but in the weeks we traveled, it happened three times there, and nowhere else."

"This is a truly special property in every way. The views, the pool, the grounds, the interiors. The village of Sellia is .25 km and has nice shops and practicalities. The house is also so we'll located for day trips to really explore the best of southern Crete. Joseph was a breeze to communicate with both before and during our stay. We are seriously considering returning before long even though we love so far away!"

Die sehr fürsorglichen und freundlichen Gastgeber, die Lage in dem kleinen ruhigen Dorf in den Bergen, der nur ca. 1,5km entfernte Strand: Perfekt für einen idyllischen und authentischen Urlaub auf Kreta.Im Umkreis von 3 km gibt es ausreichend Gastronomie und einen kleinen Supermarkt, und wer noch mehr Auswahl an Gastronomie und einen großen Supermarkt benötigt, kann nach Plakias fahren. "I stayed at the Sunrise for a week and have no idea how it was given 3.7 stars. The price of the stay was WONDERFUL for my budget! The location was PERFECT, be it right next to the sea. Manolia the customer service representative was above & beyond helpful. The best part of my stay was the 8€ breakfast! They did a WONDERFUL job with it and helped me stay below budget for my food costs. The room was clean & smelling good. There only one negative thing... and it comes from the customer expecring a Ritz Carlton experience in the farming portion of Crete. Well Worth It. Pay the 8€ for the breakfast and it'll save you 30€ from eating out."
