Property
La Chablisienne, pronounced La-Shab-Lee-Arn – top level only, is a large 3-bedroom, two-bathroom residence with double lockup garage containing contemporary European decor with an Eastern Twist. The property overlooks MONA – Museum of Old and New Art; Derwent River; and Mount Direction. Mt Wellington can also be viewed from the balcony.

Situated in a modern homes area towards the end of a no through road in the Northern Suburbs of Hobart. Glenorchy and Claremont Shopping hubs are within 4km and 12km from Hobart CBD. The property is close to Mona Museum; Moorilla Winery; the Granada Tavern; Beer Wines and Spirits (BWS) Bottle Shop; and a Corner Store. The closest Bus Stop is 1.3km (0.8 miles) from the property, therefore having your own vehicle is recommended. The Intercity Cycleway is less that 200m away for the cycling enthusiasts.
Living Area

Full-size stove and oven to prepare your culinary delights with a variety of pots, pans, baking trays, chop sticks, stove top or electric wok, rice cooker, blender, and toasted sandwich maker. Complimentary use of a large variety of cooking oils and spices, including salt/pepper and some sauces. Cling wrap, foil, paper towel, bin are bags also included for your convenience. Microwave to heat or reheat meals fast at the push of the button with a variety of BPA free containers. Dishwasher and cleaning supplies to make cleaning up a breeze.

Entertain on the leather dining suite with complimentary serviettes and toothpicks. Highchair for your infant/toddler as well as children’s tableware or dine outside on the balcony while soaking in the panoramic views after flipping burgers and sizzling sausages on the BBQ.

Feel like royalty in the massive king bed; SL Track Zero Gravity Massage Chair; and the convenience of an adjoining ensuite with Spa bath for two. Store you clothes and belongings in the huge walk-in wardrobe and exit onto the balcony to enjoy your own seating area for two. Cot/bassinet for your little one, with bedding provided, and detachable change table and baby wipes for your convenience.

For your enjoyment, guests who maybe staying underneath, and future guests to the property, please observe the following throughout your stay.
Smoking is only permitted outside.
Strictly no running in the house as it sounds like a herd of elephants below.
For insurance reasons, only paying guests are permitted to stay overnight.
Quiet hours are between 10:00pm and 7:00am
Visitors to the property by prior approval for insurance reasons.
Cleaning fees are not charged. Cleaning equipment and supplies are provided for guests use throughout your stay.
No food or drink in, or around, the massage chair.
Wash white towels etc separately to coloured items to avoid staining.
Rubbish is collected bi-weekly on Thursday morning. If your stay lands on rubbish collection day(s), please place the applicable bin(s) at the end of the driveway at least 50cm apart.

Excellent comfortable stay
We visited Hobart as we (6 family members) were the cheer squad for our great niece who was representing the Vic U 15 Regional Cricket team. All the ovals were in close proximity. The facilities were excellent with the massage chair, spacious kitchen & utensils plus a few freebie gifts from Sharlene. I wished the massage chair was placed in the living room so it could be accessed always when the bedroom was occupied! I was impressed with the name of a wine La Chablisiene from the region in France for the property

This accommodation was perfect for our needs and circumstance. Spacious living area, abundant cooking and kitchen appliances, barbecue, plenty of seating, views across the river and to the mountain. Garage for parking car. We were very comfortable. The host was attentive, communicative and accommodating. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

A fabulous short break
The accommodation was spotless and the kitchen was well equipped. The beautiful view of the river from the balcony was so relaxing. It only took less than 15 mins to walk to MONA.
