Hotel near Ben Thanh Market
we indicate during booking that we need a twin bed for our room but was informed by hotel staff on checking in that they did not receive the request. we will given a double bedroom instead. Limited breakfast dishes. Great location

The condition of the property is bad. No hot water in my shower . Bathtub is too high ( not good for the old-ages) .

This hotel has a nice entrance and welcoming staff. Breakfast was fine. Was disappointed in how small and run down the room looked. Very closed in feeling, and the bed was very hard. Walls need painting. OK for 1 day, but I would not like to stay there more than that.

Satisfactory without being anything special
The hotel was the complete definition of 'satisfactory'. It was in no way outstanding, except for the location right near the markets, and it was in no way bad. I'd happily stay again, but I'm also likely to completely forget about it if I came back to the city.

Pros - close to ben thanh market and bui vien street Staff were very friendly, pool had good views, good price, 24hour reception - checking closes midnight Cons - dated rooms, bathroom leaked water onto floor, view from my window was just a brick wall, noisy in weekends, smaller than it looked

Real good location
Got off to a horrible start as the hotel pickup that I thought had been arranged did not show up and I had to deal with getting an airport taxi. After that things started going much better.

Hotel is in a great location close to great shopping and food. Staff were friendly and helpful. We tend to be midrange backpackers so it is a little more costly then some of the other options around the area. Pool is on the smaller side but alright for a dip when no one is around. Room was spacious with comfortable beds, all in all not a bad option when the hotel rate/cost is down, good start and end for our vacation.

Small hotel at a great location in District 1
Nice small hotel near Ben Tanh Market. A lot of food in the surrounding area, easy to go anywhere from here, there are a lot of Vinasun & Malinh taxi who uses meter. Within walking distance to Notre Dame Cathedral, Post office, War Remnants Museum, Museum, etc. There are also a lot of tour counters around, good for comparing price and choosing your local tour or arranging out-of-town journet from Saigon. Breakfast was minimal but adequate. I prefer to walk around the area to find food.

I stayed in 6 hotels on my recent trip to Vietnam, all in the same price range as the JOVIALE but it was the least satisfactory. I stayed here twice. First time everything was ok but air conditioner leaked and left a large puddle of water on floor. Second visit was not satisfactory. The air conditioning did not work effectively, despite the fact that I spoke to management about it twice. I booked a room with a city view and it faced the wall of the building next door. The room was so small that there was no room for the regular chair at the desk. Hot water was a problem on two occasions. English of some of reception staff was limited. Breakfast buffet, while plentiful was not as generous or varied as the other hotels I stayed in. I would not recommend this to others.

Nice hotel in the best location.
Great location to be able to explore Hi Chi Minh by foot. 5 minutes walk from Ben Thanh market. 2 minutes walk from the street food market which has amazing food. Would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable
A good quality but reasonably priced hotel close to Ben Thanh market area. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Room was quiet and a good size. Pillows were unbelievably comfortable .....the best I can remember. Just have to find them for home now.

ベンタイン市場に近いところで、周囲には飲食店が多いため、滞在する場所としては素晴らしかったです。また、ホテルのスタッフも非常にフレンドリーで、笑顔で挨拶があり、毎日快適でした。ただ、一人だけ近所のマッサージ店を毎回お勧めしてくる人がいて、その人は面倒でした。 部屋とても広くて、設備も良かったのですが、若干古いこともあり、壁のシミとか、バスタブの汚れなど気になる面はありました。ですが、滞在するにあたっては特に支障はなく、気にしなければ良いだけかなと思います。 朝食はビュッフェ形式で、毎日若干変わるかなという程度です。卵をオムレツ、スクランブル、目玉焼きから選んだり、麺を料理してもらうことができるのは良かったです。スタッフにオーダーすればすぐに出てきます。 屋上のプールは狭いですがとても快適でした。電話が置いてあって「ドリンク希望の場合にはこの電話を使え」という張り紙がありますが、午後の暑い時間帯はスタッフがたいていいたので、その方に頼めばコーヒーやアルコールを頼むことができます。

普通です
デラックスルームに宿泊しましたが、部屋はやっぱり狭いですね。一番安い部屋ですからしかたないですが。ダブルベッドの周りに歩けるスペースがある程度で、デスクとスーツケース台、クローゼットが備わっているという感じです。プール見に行こうと思ってましたが、結局忘れちゃいました。朝食は種類豊富でおいしいですが、麺だけはほかのホテルに比べて劣る感じです。なんか、日本の乾麺のフォーみたい（硬めの春雨って食感）でしたね。目的は夜のブイヴィエンとレタントンですが、どちらにも歩いて行ける反面、どちらもちょっと遠い。そんな立地です。3階に泊まりましたが、シャワーが熱くなるまでに1分では足りないです。熱くなってしまえば温度も水量も問題はありませんが。シャワールームは壁に囲まれていて狭いです。また、シャワーカーテンが短く、床の段差も低いので、多少なり水はトイレのほうにも飛び散ります。

Pleasant stay
The Hotel was really nice, comfortable room, big window, so lot of sunshine can come in, the bathtube was awesome, and the top floor has pool, with so nice view. I was sick on the last day, and they even let me stay 4 hours longer, because i took my pills and need a bit rest. This is a huge kindness from the hotel, really thank you. Only thing i can mention to improve is that the variety of breakfast could be more, but nothing bad actually.

Hotel liegt zentral nicht weit vom Beng Market entfernt, leider haben wir den Feiertag chinesische Silvester und Neujahr erwischt und so war alles was sur Shoppingmaile gehört geschlossen- dafür war aber eine sehr schönen Blumenzone für den Feiertag vorbereitet worden.

Un hotel en eon centre ville, bien entretenue. la douche telephone laisse de l eau au sol. la chambre est standard. Parcontre bien insonorisé. Bien correte pour 2 nuits. pas une grande salle a manger et bruyant.

진짜 별로에요 비추.........
한국 모텔보다도 못해요. 엄청 꿉꿉하고, 에어컨 냄새나고, 휴.... 어둡고 심지어 vip룸으로 예약했는데 자리가 없어서 별로인 방으로 배정받았었네요. 근데 벤탄시장 근처는 다 별로인것같아요 깔끔하고 좋은 호텔 좋아하시는 분들은 동코이나 응우옌후에 거리쪽으로 하세요. 저는 전날 예약하느라 그랬지만... ㅠㅠ 하 별로 별로.... 돈 아깝고 진짜 걍 호스텔이 나았을듯 Please don’t stay here;(
