This was a lake we stopped and saw just a few hundred feet from the parking lot.
MacGregor Ranch is on Devil's Gulch Road, just outside of 'downtown' Estes Park. The secenry is beautiful and the ranch museum is pretty cool. Worth the time to visit.
Traveling on Devil's Gulch Road, towards Estes Park, you get this fantastic view of the sunrise on the Rocky Mountains. Can't beat the location of this motel, right on the main road with great restaurants, attractions, etc. within walking distance. Perfect spot to begin acclimating for mountain trips. Bed was comfy and the host was very helpful with recommendations. Should be noted that some photos in the listing are of the rental house and some of the motel, so be sure you're booking the space you want.

The property has charm and character for days. The chef on site, Brandon, is kind and extremely thoughtful. Our party had dietary restrictions that were very well accommodated, with no impact to flavor or plating. Truly a gem. The bar is charming, and there are lots of shops and restaurants in the area within walking distance. Truly a must stay.

Drake at the front desk was great! Made our stay enjoyable and comfortable. He was kind and welcoming. We needed a humidifier which he accommodated very quickly. Very clean place and great restaurant!
