For me, it’s all about the details. The laminate floor was warping and bubbling up, paint cans stashed under bunk bed, mediocre towels, soaps etc. we did not realizenot originally see beach towels that were stashed near the front door in a basket under a bench. Owner was responsive and easy to deal with. A few things you need to know before renting… 1) the bunk beds are extremely small, very narrow and definitely not twin. The lower bunk would be fine for a toddler or young child. The upper bunk has no railing and is not suited for a small child that might roll in their sleep. 2) unit is non-smoking but the lady in the unit above smokes like a chimney, there was always a faint smell of cigarette smoke. I texted with the owner to let him know and he acknowledged the neighbor smokes and it can drift into the unit, not sure there is an easy solution (maybe a high end air purifier).
