This 2nd floor, 2 bedroom, 2 bath townhouse in St. Andrews Commons is a luxurious getaway in the middle of the beautiful Palmetto Dunes plantation on Hilton Head Island. If you’re looking for pet-friendly Hilton Head vacation villas, St. Andrews 1880 welcomes the entire family, including your pooch.  
  
Step through the front door and down into the main living area. There is a beautiful dining table with seating for 5 to enjoy a family meal together. The living area is filled by a luxurious tan leather sectional couch, the perfect place to put your feet up after a round of golf and tune into a movie on the Flat Screen TV/DVD. From the living area, you can access the outside covered deck that features a lovely high dining table and chairs. A coordinating reclining chair and ottoman make a great spot for reading or an afternoon nap! The country style kitchen is fully equipped and includes a counter-top with 3 bar stools for those meals on the go.  
  
St Andrews 1880 comfortably sleeps 5 guests in 2 bedrooms. The recently updated master bedroom features a king size bed with a bright coral bedspread and tropical blue accents. It also has a flat screen TV and access to the outdoor balcony deck. This bedroom has a private bath/shower and toilet room with a separate vanity/sink area. The vanity area is recently updated with new cabinet, fixtures, lighting, and granite countertop with under-mount sink. Head up the spiral staircase to the upstairs loft bedroom with a queen bed and a twin bed. There is also a private bathroom and TV.  
  
The owners also provide two beach chairs that can be found in the beach item storage area on the entry porch.  
  
St. Andrews Commons is located just inside the desirable Palmetto Dunes Ocean Front Resort. The community features an on-site pool open April through September and is a short 1.2-mile bike ride to the beach or an easy half-mile walk to the Palmetto Dunes General Store. All beach distances are measured from the center of the complex.  
  
Palmetto Dunes is an oceanfront resort on Hilton Head Island that stretches from the 3 miles of white sandy beach, through 11 miles of lagoons, 3 golf courses, and 25 tennis courts, to the bikeway under the William Hilton Parkway that provides access to the Shelter Cove Marina and Towne Centre.  
  
Located mid-island on 2,000 acres of lush island landscapes, Palmetto Dunes boasts one of the East Coast's premiere beaches, championship golf and tennis, and miles of bike and walking trails in a tranquil setting. Discover a plethora of world-class shops and restaurants at Shelter Cove, colorful yachts anchored in the marina and a beachfront bar and restaurant at Dunes House, all easily accessed by the free Dunes Buggy shuttle service in the summer season.  
  
A non-refundable fee of $225.00 per pet plus tax is required if you are bringing a pet. Max is 2 dogs; 75 pounds per dog.  
  
Palmetto Dunes is a secured community, please specify the number of security gate passes that are needed at the time of booking your reservation. Passes are charged per car per week. 2 cars max.  
  
Check-in instructions will be sent via email at least 10 days prior to check-in once the Rental Agreement is signed. If your stay is within 9 days, or lesser, from the time of booking, the instructions will be sent via email as soon as the Rental Agreement is signed.

#### Great place to stay!

My fiancé and I enjoyed staying at the Sunset's St. Andrews property. The place was very clean and comfortable. It's in a convenient location to anything you'd do on the island. We thought the place was even a bit more attractive than the pictures showed. Awesome patio overlooking a Palmetto Dunes golf course with nice views. Restaurants, marina and beach are super close. Palmetto Dunes is quite strict on parking and rightfully so but Sunset made picking up parking passes after hours very easy. Follow their parking directions and guidelines and it'll be smooth sailing. Enjoy your vacation!

#### Nice place for a stay with your dogs!

The villa was pretty much exactly as described. Right near the entrance to Palmetto Dunes. We had two dogs there - clearly prior guests also had dogs there! I would encourage the rental management company to provide a couple more rolls of toilet paper and maybe a roll or two of paper towels. Other than that, everything was fine.

#### Needs an update

Location Location Location. We loved the location and the accessibility to the beach and bike paths. The property is dated which may contribute to my review of cleanliness. We reported the palmetto bug issue a few times and was told there would be a pest control person out. We never got confirmation that this happened. We were not able to cook in unit due to bugs which was disappointing and meant eating out for all meals for 14 days. The master bath leaves a lot to be desired with the mold in shower and wondered if there would be a fire due to the dust build up on bathroom fan. This is our second stay in PD and really enjoy our time down there unfortunately, it was just outside of the property. Needs some tender loving care.

A good location in Palmetto Dunes, near the pool. Our teens enjoyed all staying in one room with their own bathroom. Clean and well maintained.
