Unfortunately, the photo of the property that appears on the Expedia page is not the property that Expedia users will book. That property is only booked by calling them directly. There are small cottages and another area some distance up the road from the cottages. It wasn't quite what I had expected. There was a dirty Band-Aid on the floor, the windows cannot be opened safely as they are at ground level. There is no air conditioning or real ventilation in the rooms. Other than that, you need to make sure that you check in at the main Lodge and they will give you your keys from there. Other things . . . There is an extensive online registration that has to be done. During this, you need to provide your full name and address, along with credit card information, and a photo of your driver's license. This does make your check in someone easier, but it feels really strange to be sending all of your personal information over the internet.

Stayed in a cottage. Strong smoke smell from the fireplace. Tiny rooms with shared common space and paper thin walls. Shower went from hot to cold without warning. TV didn’t work. Ants in our room. Dinner at the Inn was the only saving grace. I do not recommend.

Old and worn. We had a beautiful view and the beds were excellent. Pillows lumpy and too big. Our room had a door to connect to the next room. We could hear all the speech and noises! Bathroom adequate except no hot water by 7:30 am and the towels exfoliated. Best part was view across pond to Hudson.

Your house keeping lady stole a number of bags from me. One had my medication that will cause me seizures if I don’t get it back. The bag alone cost me 300 dollars Nevermind the items in it. If you don’t refund me and give me my Bags back I will file civil charges

My boyfriend and I went here for the weekend in February and it was a calm and peaceful stay! The bed was comfy and the room was warm and felt updated and clean. I would definitely recommend!

Actually the staff was great but the management needs to have 2 workers at the front desk. The maintenance man left and the front desk lady was fixing tv' for about 45mins to an hr. Other then that it was great.

It was a nice gateway for me and my husband nice and quiet a hour away from NYC we took the coach bus and the food was good but we ordered a lot from door dash other then that we had a good time the scenery was beautiful and we went to the zoo and gift shop the pool was close at this time we would diff visit again if you want a quiet vacation go here it’s worth it

Lots of natural beauty in the area. Downside is that the cottage rooms are a trek from the main inn if you don’t have a car.

I had a lovely stay at the Lodge at Bear Mtn Inn. The room was a nice size and the beds were very comfy. I ate at the hotel restaurant twice and the food was very tasty, especially the salmon and the desserts. The staff was top-notch, but a few deserve special mention. Gabriel was very helpful throughout my stay, he even helped with booking as I had some special requests. Sherri at the restaurant is an excellent server, but I was so impressed by how patiently she dealt with some very rude diners. Ariana in reception at the lodge was super friendly, and also helped me out with a special request for the room after housekeeping had gone home for the day. Malcolm and Erin, at the Inn, always greeted with a smile and very helpful.

Upon driving up to the lodge after check in, I noticed a size able water damaged area on the ceiling in the hallway. The smell was horrible. Lucky it was 40 yards from my room. I called and spoke with the front desk who advised they would send someone up. Doesn’t look like anyone came up to see my concern.

Nice location and place room was dirty
Our room had an amazing view we stayed at the lodge. But there was dog hair on the carpet and the slip cover that the box spring was covered in dog pee. Was New Year’s Eve so couldn’t get another room. Tried to tell the front desk at check out but they could care less. Nice location and nice place with great grounds but room was very dirty.
