"Friendliest and most helpful staff at Koora. The grounds and views are stunningly beautiful. I love the nature trail and wildlife refuge were so easily accessible. Wonderful stay. Highly recommend!"

"We paid for a garden view, but what we actually got was a view of a 8 feet high bush which was so close to our window that it blocked out most light and any view. The staff weren’t keen to resolve this as apparently that was ‘the garden’. The manager was conveniently in holiday and no one was left with the authority to resolve the problem. They finally offered to change our room in the last night of our stay, but so late in the day that if we had taken up the offer, we would have missed the trip we had booked. Hobsons choice. Really not what I expect for £300 per night. I wouldn’t book here again."

"The most excellent and friendly staff one could ask for. The common areas were always well kept and in good condition. The room was very clean and cozy. A perfect stay if traveling in Monteverde. "

"Room was clean and spacious, large bathroom, shuttle staff were very friendly. Had a great view from room and able to see lots of different wildlife - recommend watching sunset and night tour - was disappointed had to pay additional $20 to hike trail at the top of the hill. Breakfast buffet was ok - traditional Costa Rica breakfast options. Wish the pool bar was opened longer to have time to swim and relax after done with tourist attractions and supper"
