Inside an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and plenty of space (2000 sf) make it a great family or group gathering location. Enjoy the rustic cabin feel, 4 comfortable bedrooms, a well stocked kitchen, table and bar seating for 8, a gas stove for cold winter nights, a separate entertainment area with surround sound, TV and games and internet access. In addition to the porch, enjoy the outdoor firepit, grill and beautiful forest views with seasonal long and short range mountain views. The front porch spans the full width of the cottage so kick back in one of our oversize rocking chairs with a book, enjoy a fire in the fire pit. It will be hard to choose which spot to recline in with a glass of wine after a day of hiking, fishing, shopping or exploring!

We booked this cabin for a quick ski getaway. The cabin was conveniently located, and easy drive to Appalachian Ski Mountain, Blueridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, and Blowing Rock downtown area. The cabin itself was perfect. We had everything we needed and more. Fantastic stay!
Wonderful stay. Driveway was STEEP and a little treacherous but that was expected in the mountains. Just be aware if booking in winter. Had everything we needed and not a terrible drive into town. Would definitely stay again.
Absolutely wonderful couldn’t have asked for better weather or location!

The house is beautiful. The driveway is a little tricky. We took the grandkids (age 9 & 10) to Tweetsie Railroad. They had a blast. One of the grandkids has Cerebral Palsy. The child is able to walk but gives out faster than other kids. We left Tweetsie and went back to the cabin. We ate and headed out to the hot tub. When we lifted one side of hot tub, we saw an empty tub that was dirty and 1 part that looked like it was missing. Needless to say, we were very disappointed. Especially the child with Cerebral Palsy who just wanted to soak her legs in the hot tub. If we would have known the hot tub wasn’t working, we would have chosen somewhere else. We were not told the hot tub wasn’t working.
