Built in 1907, our 3 bedroom/2 bath home is the perfect escape to small-town life. Sleeps 6 comfortably. We kept all of the historic charm and added modern amenities. It's a 2-minute walk to downtown Hico, TX. Treasure hunt at the boutiques and antique shops. Plan an Instagramable picnic by the river with A Bushel and a Peck Picnics. No complaints. There is a water constriction in the hallway shower and that doesn't make for a nice heavy flow of water, like in the main bedroom shower but we had a choice so that was nice. From the moment you walk in the door you feel immediately at home. Normally places are smaller in person than they look in the photos but that was not the case with this home. It was large with gorgeous furnishings. The backyard was our favorite space with lots of room to hang out with family, grill, play games, etc. The owner has thought of every detail and have included it all within the home. From paper plates to spices, toiletries and more…it has it all. We also enjoyed how close the home is to downtown Hico and walked for coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.
