The check-in process was easy and Ashley communicated with me throughout my stay. The accommodations were fine - similar to a hotel room - bed, tv, and bathroom. A sitting chair would add an option for watching tv or reading. The room is below the main house and you can hear voices and footsteps. In the country with lots of green pasture and big lots but downtown Hickory is only about 20 minutes away. A big room with pleasing decor. A patio of your own that overlooks a beautiful yard. Spacious newer bathroom. Its quiet and you don't need to be concerned about noise. We enjoyed our stay there, but there are a few negatives. There's a need for somewhere inside to eat take out or prepare a sandwhich. There is no where to eat other than the bed and there is no where to sit other than the bed.
