« Such a wonderful stay! This was our second time staying here - the first was in winter, and now in early spring. We love the super clean, spacious cabin, the privacy of the cabins and the patios (depending on which cabin you choose.) The fire pit is great, looking onto a wonderful view. The landscaping is delightful, and will be magical as the owner develops it over the months and years to come. We felt really pampered, with nice amenities in the rooms, and superb value for all of this! Will...

« The website did not list that there was a pool on the property. I wish I had know so I could pack a bathing suit. Other than that and a June bug in the bathtub, and a very slow draining tub, all was good. »

« Large and comfortable room with a river view and surrounded by several well kept acres of lawn and garden. Walking distance to the well equipped small town. A very welcoming and knowledgeable host. Met other guests in the breakfast room. Just a fine place to stay in a great little town. »

« House is stocked with everything we needed for a several weeks stay - great home base for exploring the area. We especially enjoyed the front porch - sitting out and watching the sun rise, and the deer wandering the neighborhood in the evenings. A short stroll to downtown Decorah. Laundry on site was super helpful, and we had room for a couple guests to spend a few nights with us. Ten out of ten! »

« We had an amazing, peaceful, and private stay—just what we wanted! The location was great and very close to everything decorah has to offer! The fall colors were beautiful and definitely showing off for us. We ended up using the air mattress to sleep on and that worked out really well for us as the back of the futon wasn’t very comfortable, but great for sitting! We were never able to find the trails that led down to the bottom of the Quarry, but that’s ok. We didn’t need to talk to the owners...
