Villa Lakosti - Beautiful!
Only stayed a couple of nights but our room was great. Booked last minute but Eleni was so accommodating, helpful & friendly (as were all the staff). Easy communication, everything fully explained, rooms are so pretty as is the whole place. We ate at the restaurant once and it did not dissappoint (there is a reason it's one of the top rated restaurants in the village!!). Highly recommend!

Property manager was very friendly and helpful although we were forced to pay double for laundry service when the third party company decided to charge extra and the hotel staff paid and we had to reimburse them. Poor communication and customer service there. Room was next to restaurant and noise carried easily through the walls. Village was concenient with lots of dining options. Very steep walk to and from the boardwalk and beach.

However we never intended to “force” for something that was not our fault. We just made sure a need was full filed. However, we have taken seriously into consideration of this and we have confronted the company so that no future incidents like this would happen. And we apologise once more, although it was not our fault.As for the noise in the apartment, if we were aware of such discomfort we would have taken some action and probably change room.Nevertheless, we really hope you enjoyed your time in Greece and would love to see you again in a future trip.Kind regards,Villa Iokasti team

Gorgeous getaway!
Such a beautiful place to stay . Hosts were so friendly . Restaurant is first class . Accommodation very traditional and comfortable. Gardens and pool area very well kept this accommodation has a real little Greek village feel about it have stayed here before and will definitely return .again

Lovely place.
A lovely welcome awaits you here, it is the opposite of corporate. The grounds at Villa Iokasti are some of the most photogenic I have seen, lots of pots and succulents, plenty of photo ops. The pool area is just about big enough, we didn’t have a problem getting shade or sun beds during our stay in early June. The rooms are cleaned every other day which is fine. They have a kitchenette but don’t expect to do any cooking, but why would you? We would have liked a toaster and a smaller saucepan but for traditional Greek breakfasting it is good enough. Our first room had a problem with the aircon and r]the shower but we were moved to another room as soon as we mentioned it to the hotel, not sure what would have happened if the place was full. The rooms on 2 levels have aircon in the bedrooms but not in the downstairs area, so if you are planning on using the sofa beds be prepared to be very warm. The bedroom door in our room wouldn’t close because the bed was in the way, quirky but indicative of the small things that could be better. We tend not to eat where we are staying so we didn’t eat dinner at the restaurant but it looked good and is certainly a nice environment if you try it. The staff are all very helpful and overall it is a good place and with a few tweaks could be even better. The resort is only 20minutes walk from Hersonissos but a world apart in character. It is pretty, full of good places to eat and drink, and plenty of places for breakfast.

Another fab Crete holiday.
We loved staying at Vila Iokasti. The apartment was fairly basic but comfortable. The place was very clean and well kept. The restaurant was wonderful, food delicious and great service. The pool area was quite small and sometimes very busy for the amount of apartments.

Les hôtes étaient très gentils, le lieu était top. Rien à redire mise à part le manque de climatisations pour ceux qui dorment en bas car il a fait trop chaud. Le personnel était très sympa également. Le placement de l’appart’ hôtel était top aussi, à côté de boutiques, petits markets et restaurants. On a adoré !

Supervriendelijke eigenaresse en personeel. Prettige appartementen, schoon en ruim opgezet. Fijne faciliteiten. Zwembad erg schoon en fijne ligruimte. Bakker en supermarkt op 250m. Dorpje met restaurants paar minuten lopen. Hun eigen restaurant is erg goed. Strand te bereiken via afdaling 10 min en beklimming 20 min steile straat. Aldaar bus te nemen naar volgende strandjes. Huurauto aan te bevelen om eiland te verkennen. Heerlijk genoten!

Calme, piscine très agréable et proche de tout
Nous avons passé 15 jours à la villa iokasti avec notre fille de 3 ans. La villa est bien située dans le village de Koutouloufari. Boulangerie et petit supermarché juste à côté. Plage proche 10 min à pied. L accueil est juste parfait. Personnel adorable des femmes de ménage aux propriétaires. La piscine est très agréable au calme, transats en nombre suffisant. Wifi fonctionne parfaitement au bord de la piscine. Prêt de lit bébé et chaise haute gratuit. Coffre fort 15€ Pour 15 jours. Clim dans la chambre 6€ par nuit mais indispensable au mois d août. Nous étions hébergés dans une maison en duplex. Taille suffisante propre et simple. Le ménage et les lits sont faits tous les 2 jours. Les - : la cuisine est très ancienne et trop peu d équipement pas de micro onde poêle d un autre âge pas de bac à glaçons de couteau qui coupe.... , pas de lit double dans la chambre deux lits simples qui ne peuvent pas se rapprocher et la vue sur mer n est pas aussi jolie que celle du restaurant. Pas de parking réservé, le parking public n est pas très loin mais c est en pente. La Tv ne fonctionne pas. Pas de wifi dans la maison.

De retour hier, nous avons passé une semaine en famille agréable. L'espace piscine est calme et reposant. Nous vous conseillons d'éviter d'arriver de nuit en voiture, le stationnement est difficile et l'hôtel compliqué à trouver.
