We loved the layout of the home. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. The common areas were bright and roomy. The table held us all comfortably at dinner. Everything was well stocked including the coffee pods. Spices, sugar, snd oil was in the pantry. Plenty of plates, glasses, silverware, and pots and pans. The location was 10-15 minutes from Hendersonville. Perfect location for hikes in the morning and lunch, brewery, or vineyard in the afternoon. The hosts responded very quickly. Views were beautiful. The outside TV was a hit with the kids and adults. We would definitely stay again!

House / property was very clean and stocked with many of your basic needs, robes for the hot tub and sauna where a nice touch. Lots of space and activities for folks to comfortably enjoy themselves during the stay. Extremely close to the super market and within 30 minutes of downtown Asheville. The host was quick to respond to questions/concerns, overall a wonderful experience and will look to stay again.

Perfect place for families and kids!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was very kid friendly, and the layout could not have been any better. We could get to a grocery store in 5 minutes, and downtown in 15. We never heard another person when we were enjoying the outdoor spaces, it seems very secluded even with other houses on the street. We can’t wait to return

Absolutely the most amazing home. The views, comfort, uniqy decor and touches of luxury everywhere were appropriated.Fantastic vibes inside and out. The time spent on the deck was breathtaking. Game room so fun. Greateful for the extremely comfortable beds, sheets and plush towels. The coffee bar was a huge hit fully stocked upstairs and down. I highly recommend this wonderful property and the amenities and activities in Hendersonville are so worth the trip. We will be returning to this beautiful home.

The communication from the host was perfection and the property is absolutely stunning. A wonderful place for a family getaway. Our group did lots of hikes that were nearby the house, including one with waterfalls. It was a really special and we will always cherish these memories. We hope to return again next year and make it an annual event. One of the best VRBO experiences we’ve ever had!

Unfortunately the home was not very clean when we arrived. The towels were folded under the sink but were all very damp as if they were not fully dried before being put away. The floors in the home were sticky as if they had not been mopped. The ice maker was completely frozen over which we cleared but the dispenser remained frozen over the entire stay. The smoke alarm batteries chirped many nights and were too high for us to reach and replace the batteries. The management was extremely responsive and offered to have the cleaning service arrive at 8:30 the next morning (we had been traveling all day and were exhausted getting to bed very late so we declined). We dried the towels ourselves. The management offered several times to send over a pizza for our troubles and we declined as we had other dinner reservations. The management assured us that they spoke with the cleaning service and this would not happen again and were very appreciative of our communication and assistance. Overall, the location was perfect, the views were spectacular and Hendersonville is a delightful town with lots of yummy restaurants (Postero, Claywood, West First Wood Fired, Hubba Bubba BBQ, Flat Rock Bakery) and the hikes and waterfalls in the area and baby goats at the Carl Sandburg Home are amazing. I trust that the management has taken care of this situation and the cleaning and care of the home will be better managed going forward. You can't beat Western NC!!
