"Though we went there on a day where the sky was overcast and dreary..it contrasted very well with the next day when the weather took a turn for the better. Pity though we thought we could see something in the waters but not much..just a bird or 2 dipping into the water for a fish. It can be quite private though moving of luggage was impossible with the flight of stairs. The unit next to us could see us but we could draw the blinds if we wanted. Though small, it's still pretty nice and I was glad to experience a night there. I could imagine if it was towards the end of the year when northern lights was in play, the experience would be awesome."
"Nice hotel not too far from Torghatten. Comfortable and spacious room. Breakfast was good but they didn’t really refill them quickly to when some items were finished. Plenty of parking and a few electric charging points."
"The hotel was situated in a beautiful and quiet location. We chose the room with a river view, which was lovely. However the room was quite stuffy and we did try to open the window to cool the room down but it was still warm, it didn’t have an air-con setting. Also my bed was quite soft so the topper kept moving about as it was quite light so it made for an uncomfortable sleep. This has only happened in this hotel and I have stayed in 7 different hotels and I have no complaints with the other beds.
As the hotel charged for parking, we parked in the car park in front of the hotel and left before 8am.
We enjoyed eating at the restaurant hotel - Restaurant Ellen . Food was delicious. Highly recommend it."

2) Dinner was included, and even though we walked down the street to a nearby restaurant, we stopped by when we came back and had waffles (Norwegian style)for dessert, very nice thank you.
3) terrific value, we would definitely stay here again."
