« It was the short weekend runaway we needed and were looking forward to. It's a quick ride to Pittsfield but we decided to cross the border to Manchester, VT. The place was as described, quiet, clean, secluded but easy to find. The Lake was fantastic but, due to weather, decided against taking the kayaks out. Perhaps next time. Thanks to Rich for being a great and gracious host! »

« We had a great time with all the outdoor activities but also having that feeling of knowing you’re coming back to a clean and beautiful, new-like “home” to clean up/ freshen up and relax and recharge and keep going. « We had a group of thirty-four people for a family vacation and had a blast. The host and the housekeeper were tremendously responsive to any small issues we had over the first few days. The kitchen was well stocked but could use more mugs for coffee/tea and additional forks for larger groups and the tea bags were past the best before date and should be replaced. « We loved this charming house on the river! We attended a family reunion in the area and it was a wonderful location and so lovely to be near the running river and take a dip in the refreshing water. My only recommendation would be to add in the initial listing that there is a caretaker on property. That isn't listed on the listing and I didn't know about it until the check in instructions came. While not a bother at all during our stay, it isn't something I would usually care for to have a...

« Great place to stay! Very cozy & comfortable with a creative flair to the decor. Definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway with convenient access to general store and nearby wilmington. We especially enjoyed the hot tub with lake views!! Our only recommendation would be to keep a path around the firepit down to the dock mowed/trimmed. Thank you to the owners for making the stay welcoming and enjoyable! »

« Location is minutes away from town. Location was easy to find. House was very clean and had all that we needed. Perfect size for our group of 5 adults, each having our own bedroom. We found plenty to do in the area. Jane was very helpful giving us information of things to do, especially being a girl's weekend, she informed us of spas, shopping and great spots to see foliage, and nice restaurant nearby that had music. Would definitely stay here again. »
