great lil getaway
This is a great place to stay, we were riding snowmobile trails could jump right on the lake and to the trails. clean place, easy to communicate with, the location is great. there is a bar below on fri and sat night. there is some noise but we knew this ahead and it did bother us at all. would def recomend

Was okay. No bbq grill available. Duck poo all over yard. Kid beach slimy..
The last evening my Native American friends came over and we got accused of "smoking pot" Which absolutely did not occur. It smelled of that all day on their property (from where I don't know but not me) but nothing said or done till Native Americans come over. Very insulting and racist. I had children with and to be treated like that was something I had to explain why some folks act like that towards other folks. Ruined our last night.

Beautiful lakefront spot but close to Hayward
You can't beat this location- on beautiful Nelson Lake but less than 10 minutes from Hayward. The unit is small but cozy and immaculate. It is above a bar, restaurant as part of a small resort, but it was plenty quiet enough. Lisa and Tim are great hosts, with timely response. They also run the bar/restaurant that has great food too.
