"It has the best location, two minutes walk from the train station, centrally located in The Royal Mile. It is very close to restaurants, and shops. The bed was very comfortable! There is an ongoing remodeling and they start at 7 am. And the lift was out of service and there were signs for reception and none for the lift. We went around our floor a couple of times. The bathroom sink gets clogged easily."

"For us, this hotel was absolutely perfect! We had a beautiful view of Grassmarket, and the castle. Room was very comfortable, breakfast was very good and staff was helpful. Keep in mind that you are in a noisy area. It wasn’t an issue for us, but might be for some. "

"No AC in the rooms only heaters! No controls of turning off the heater even in perfect 45 degree night time weather! Thought Scotts were used to cold weather! Other than that Izzy and they staff were AMAZING! TY"
