« The morning breakfast, though free, was less than desirable. Probably would give it a 2-star rating (at best). The room was clean and generally well kept up (3-4 stars). The check-in process was undesirable as well (1 star). Since we had a confirmation already with Expedia, I would have expected them to ask less questions, but it was a full-blown on-line check in (Name, address, credit card, drivers license, etc.), I would recommend just checking in at the hotel and NOT online. « The staff at Lakes Inn at Dunvilla is the epitome of Minnesota nice. I have never had such friendly and helpful treatment as was experienced during an overnight stay. We travelled through some scary weather on a rainy night to get there, arriving several hours later than planned. The night clerk was waiting at the door with a luggage cart ready for me, and a request to use the hot tub for a quick soak to ease my sore shoulders was generously given.
