« It was out in the middle of nowhere quiet and peaceful »

« Our stay was great. The house was clean and very well decorated. The pool was perfect for the kids and the adults. A lot of cannon balls were done in the pool over the week. We only had one issue (power outage to no fault of the host) I messaged the host fairly early and they got back to me very quickly and let me know there was an outage in my area and directed me to the map so that I could monitor it on my own. Our next trip to Owensboro, we will definitely be reaching out to book again. »

« Check in was great. Even got an early check in. Which was nice. Kitchen facilities were nice. Wi fi was greatReally need to take care of the floor. And the ceiling fan. Sitting at the dining room table was quite challenging. Overall it was a great place to visit and have a nice getaway. Great views of the river and barges. »

« We stayed at this home for a weekend getaway. The property was well maintained and comfortable and the outside deck/yard are perfect for hosting BBQ and sitting around the fire. The marina and boat launch were convenient and just a few minutes away from the house which quick and easy lake access to launch the boat and get the lake days started! Our stay was excellent! Would recommend! »

« We had the best long weekend! The home was gorgeous and very very clean. It was decorated beautifully. It was stoked with all essentials. The hostess was so kind and so easy to communicate with. We rented a boat at Nick’s. We had a great day on the lake. We will definitely be back! »

« The check in process was super easy. We had a couple questions and Amy responded very quickly. The house was clean and very well equipped. Lots of seating for large groups. The grill and blackstone were appreciated. Good supply of towels & washcloths. DVD's for rainy days or we were able to stream without any problems. We rented the yellow and blue houses for a total of 16 and had adequate sleeping room. The goats are a nice touch. Also got to see deer & wild turkey (and a tiny lizard). ...

« Terrific house! Minutes from Rough River Lake boat ramp and state park. Restaurants and convenience stores nearby also. well equipped kitchen and grill made cooking easy. There is a path that leads down to the water. No dock, but we were able to tie our boat up and leave overnight with no issues. »

« This is a lovely cottage on the Ohio river. We stayed for two weeks and truely enjoyed it. This cottage has the older home charm with modern amenities. We look forward to coming back for future stays. »
