In 1924, one of the reels of film got stuck in the projector and caught fire, igniting a full reel in the lower magazine. Only the outer shell of the theater survived the fire. The Kinema was rebuilt "as near fireproof as possible" and reopened in 1924. The Kinema Theatre was renamed the Hub Theatre in 1928. We were able to cooked steak on the grill outside, walk to the creek nearby, enjoy the starry night and camp fire, have coffee even make rice with the rice cooker! Rooms are very clean and nice, fairly low price for the area and not far to Bryce Canyon and nearest grocery store. Definitely stay here if you are looking for a good experience!
