"We booked this hotel for a concert in Gainesville. When we arrived, there was five couples standing outside waiting to register. All of us needed to get to the concert in order to find parking before got too late. We waited an hour and 15 minutes for one couple to be processed. The gentleman who worked there was very nice, but was working with extremely limited resources. I think he did the best he could, but the rooms were substandard, dirty, and we didn’t get our room till 1:30 in the morning. I don’t want this poor fellow to lose his employment, but I don’t think this hotel should be listed on Expedia."

"This hotel needs significant upgrades. The rugs are worn, dingy and dirty, the "decorating" is not tasteful (to anyone), the pool towels were old and small, breakfast was subpar, the mattress and pillows were awful and you can hear everything in the hallways and in the adjacent rooms. The staff were friendly, but that is not nearly enough to justify a $216/per night stay. It felt like a motel, but it certainly was not as cheap as one."

"We didn’t expect a lot, but it was ruined by the unprofessional actions of the front desk. We went to a concert, and arrived back to the room at 1AM exhausted. At 1:30AM after falling asleep, the front desk called us regarding a mess-up on THEIR part! Never in our lives has a hotel woken us up, let alone because of their own mistake. We spoke to the front desk prior to leaving the following morning, and all that we got was “sorry, we figured it out on our end.”"

"Enjoyed our stay on Lake Kerr with my family. Beautiful views of the lake from the porch as the sun rose each morning. Nice sandy, shallow entry that allowed us to easily fish, swim, float, and kayak from the property. Close to the trails for riding the side by side as well."
