Unfortunate Smell
The breakfast was outstanding! The room was physically comfortable with a nice view. But what made the stay unpleasant was a strong sewage smell in the bathroom.

Great Breakfast!!
I only stayed one night but my room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was really good. You had to park off grounds but it wasn't too far away. The staff was courteous and helpful. I had a very pleasant stay. Thanks!

The door lock is not safe. If you don’t remove the keycard inside, the door don’t lock itself. When you are in the door, you have to press the button to lock the door from inside, otherwise the door won’t lock itself when it closes.

Very clean and quiet, and located next to the harbor. The phenomenal buffet (free breakfast) is the best we’ve ever had!

The view was inside a construction. The room was pretty nice and new. The breakfast, we had to wait for almost an hour.

Nice Hotel Experience .
The hotel is located in the city center . There’a parking area nearby the hotel but you have to pay for it. ( its about 24 Nok kr per time. ) after 3pm its free parking until 8:00 am. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good . We enjoyed our stay .

Best hotel in Harstad
The stay was great, you’ll get some good choises for breakfast, and you get the food at the table. Nice staff, very nice hotel, and convenient in the center of Harstad. One of the best hotels in Harstad acctually, I loved it.

Hotel is undergoing a renovation, almost complete, and the rooms have been already been updated beautifully. They are spacious and offer many amenities. The hotel breakfast was abundant and delicious and had excellent service staff.

I found the renovated room to be clean and bed was quite comfortable. They were renovating the lobby and 2nd floor but I never heard construction noise. Breakfast buffet is excellent with a lot of food choices and a lovely view of the harbor and mountains. If I am ever back in Harstad, I will stay at the Thon again.

Nice hotel in the middle of the city. The hotel is currently being renovated and there is a lot of work going on. Our room was nicely refurbished, but we had issue with a vent falling out of the ceiling in the middle of the night and waking us up with a loud noise. The staff was awesome and very helpful. Told us where to go to see the Northern Lights.

Well appointed hotel close to all facilities.
Whilst the twin room was was rather small it have everything we needed and presented as a cosy, safe haven for our two night stay. The included breakfast was absolutely outstanding.

Good hotel with some caviates
Would prefer a room to have a bath as well as a shower. More than half of the T.V. stations were 'out of service' and no native English channels available. Staff were very friendly and helpful. No light switch by bed which meant having to get up and turn the lights out. Excellent breakfast.

I stayed here as I had some work to do locally. There were 2 reasons I chose this hotel and they were that I had stayed in a Thon hotel previously and that I said that it had parking (idea as I had a hired car). On arrival I found that it had limited parking and was full. It appears that they only have parking for about a dozen cars, Luckily there is a public car park just across the road which I had to use (which is chargeable betweem 8.00 - 17.00hrs). Connected to the hotel is a Egon restaurant which is fine and close by are a couple of restaurants and places to eat and drink. The breakfst was o.k. but dont expect the food to be hot as the hot buffet was only tepid on both mornings that I had it, but there is plenty of selection on the cold buffet. I found my room to be small compared to other places that I have stayed but was o.k. for the short time I was there. I think it may have been a room for 1 even though the bed was bigger than a single. If I was to go back I think I would try the Scandic hotel which is only around the corner and is cheaper as I found this hotel to be a bit below the usual standard I found with the other Thon Hotels I've stayed at.

We arrived late in afternoon after full day of train/bus/taxi to get from Kiruna SWEDEN to Harstad. The National Holiday in May disrupted some arrangements. Enjoyed our brief stay in Harstad and waterfront walk.
