The staff were extremely friendly and efficient and the decor stunning. The food was delicious and a very large and comfortable bed with a nice patio area attached to our ground floor room. We had a great overnight stay but do bring a dog friendly attitude if you sleep in a lodge type room and be aware of roadside location. That said, it was great value for money with a luxurious feel and we would highly recommend and hope to stay again. Good central location too. Well done the whole team!! Thank you.

Very nice one night stay at The Inn. Checked in the car in the bar area, then got our key and was shown to our room. Free wifi. The room and bathroom was spacious and well decorated. Double doors to small veranda with a table and two chairs over looking the surrounding grassed area that is tree lined. Peaceful and very pleasant. We had an evening meal and dessert. The menu had great choices. What we had for breakfast was delicious. All the staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly.

Amazing find. Beautiful room in a lovely setting. Evening meal excellent as was breakfast. Staff very welcoming would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at The Inn South Stainley from the 21st Feb till 23rd Feb, on arrival our booking did not state that we had a dog with us, so the duty manager had to do a little jiggling around to put us in a dog friendly room, even tho I had booked with a dog.. however it worked out better for us as no stairs to climb, the room we were in was very clean and comfortable,it was seperate from the main hotel part, however the gardens surrounding us were well kept, with a balcony area with seating and a table, there was a tented seating area with a patio heater and lots of seating and tables underneath, would be fabulous in the warmer weather, even had a doggy bed and water bowl for our jack russell, she was allowed to come and dine with us on the first evening and also breakfast, which was great, have stayed in places before and dogs weren't allowed in dining rooms. The food was very good, and ample selection from the breakfast menu and buffet table, the staff were excellent, very friendly and pleasant. The hotel is central to visit areas around, Harrogate, Ripon, Knaresbourough

We stayed in the outside cabins. Room was spotless, great size and had everything we needed. Food in the pub was some of the best weve had. The breakfast, which was included, was fantastic. Service was outstanding and we were made to feel at home. Will definitely return.

Doggy Break for Half Term.
Made really welcome on arrival, we were shown to the room, where our two dogs were well catered for. A dog bed each and a bowl of water. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had Sunday lunch, which was fab, generous portions and really tasty. The breakfasts were also good. Given it was included, I had low expectations. But I was wrong. All freshly prepared and a good selection of cooked and non cooked options.

This was our first visit to The Inn however would go back if in the area again. The staff were friendly & welcoming. The food at both dinner & breakfast was great & nicely presented. The bed was super comfy & the room was well equipped with toiletries & tea/ coffee etc

The lodge was excellent, spacious, fabulous comfortable bed and a lovely walk in shower. The staff were friendly and professional, Colin gave us a laugh during our excellent breakfast which was one of the tastiest we've had. The extras(toiletries, slippers and umbrella etc) were a nice touch. We would certainly recommend anyone staying here and will be back in the future.

Wonderful stay!
Great location for visiting Ripon, Harrogate and York. Friendly, helpful staff. Collin is very funny at breakfast! Comfy rooms and amazing food! Lovely to have game on the menu. Everything is freshly cooked.

Very pet friendly
This was our second stay at this hotel and was just as good as the first. All staff mega friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Many hotels say they are pet friendly but what they really mean is dogs only. We have a dog and cat and both are truly welcome. My husband and myself and animals had a great stay and will definitely be returning.

Spent 4 nights at this beautiful Inn. The lodges at the back were so lovely and cosy. All staff were brilliant, service was excellent. Food delicious, compliments to the chef. Will certainly be back to stay. Thank you all so much.

Excellent bed and breakfast Inn

Excellent booking in service. Warm and friendly staff, nothing was too much to ask. Food was fantastic and presentation was wonderful. Highly recommend staying here

The staff were extremely attentive and ensured our stay was as pleasant as possible. The room was spacious, well decorated, spotlessly clean and very quiet. The garden terrace was delightful and was a lovely place to sit in the morning before breakfast. Breakfast was very good with a large menu. We dined in the restaurant in the evening and again the food was very good. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would certainly return if we visited this area again.

Lovely hotel and the lodge rooms were clean and spacious with lovely bathrooms and terrace. The staff were friendly and helpful and a really nice breakfast choice. One piece of feedback is for a small fridge to be put into the room as there was no where cool to keep medicine, water and dog food fresh.
