Modern luxury, walk to Washington St and downtown, EV, Movie room, Spa bathroom
EV enabled. Flowers galore. Like waking into Architectural Digest (per review). Central to all activities (restaurants, wineries, Harpers Ferry, rafting) and just a quarter mile walk to Washington St. Oldtown Harpers Ferry is another mile, but most of the good restaurants, entertainment, wine bar and and live music are on this end of Washington St. Great central locatio. And you don’t hear the train at night every hour at this end of WashingtonSt. Beautiful landscape (see pictures). Peaceful. We also have another place across the street if this one is not available. It's called, "Harpers Ferry Luxury, Spa Bathroom, movie room”. Sleep great on high-end Tempur-Pedic beds. A customized and very modern living space. “Like walking into a modern design magazine”, said one review. A short walk to the Potomac and lots of nearby hiking trails. Centrally located to 30 plus wineries and a dozen breweries (see maps) within 25 miles (10 wineries within 10 miles). Ride the train to/from DC to take in the sites! Very neat and clean. A great family environment setup or couples retreat. Although designed for a small family, it's a beautiful romantic getaway house with easy short drives to many nearby wineries or breweries in three States, Virginia (Loudon County Virginia is just across the bridge), Maryland and West Virginia. We've customized our outdoor deck for your relaxation and enjoyment. An open kitchen with floating shelves; a custom white oak buffet shelf adjoins next to a large wooden kitchen table for easy dining. Keurig K-cups for a nice cup of coffee in the morning. Huge 65 inch smart curved TV in living room, with extra large couch for all to stretch out and enjoy. Movie room has a 92” TV and plenty of space couches and chairs to stretch out and soak in a good movie for the whole family. Tons of board and other games. Advanced wi-fi mesh network, cell phone tower booster (this area is hard to get service for many providers and the booster helps get more bars on phone). Furnished with quality furniture from stores like CB2, WestElm, Ligne Roset, Roche Bobois, Rove Concepts, etc.. Custom patio and deck nestled in nature. Romantic and peaceful. Short walk to a nearby National Forrest. Hike down the other side of the hill down to the Potomac River, or enjoy dozens of other nearby hikes. The mid-point of the Appalachian Trail is nearby. Beautiful mountain views. Local activities include zip-lines, tree adventure parks, tubing, rafting. It's a short walk/hike to Harpers Ferry. Take Washington St. or walk along the Potomac river to Harpers Ferry. Enjoy high end luxury Tempur-Pedic beds (King and Queen) with Bamboo sheets to keep cool. Ceiling fans. The professionally landscaped garden has been designed to have flowers and changing colors all year.
Pet Fee (if applicable) - Pets: We allow pets on conditions. 1) pay the pet fee 2) follow local leash laws (all pets outside of house must be on a leash). 3) bag and pick up pet waste and dispose of in toilets or outside trashcan (but only if in a bag). If you bring a pet, please tell us and say you have a pet on your reservation as our cleaners charge us a $50 fee to use "odor ban" on the entire house and do extra cleaning for any pet hair. If they determine there was a pet they will charge me, and I'll pass the fee along to our guest. We have sensitive non-pet owner guests with allergies so the extra cleaning has to be extra detailed. Hence the fee. 100% of it goes to the cleaning crew.

Very thoughtfully decorated! Nice space for a large family or friends sharing. Convenient to historic sites, battlefields, and restaurants. Paul was very helpful.
Wish we had been there in spring to see all the flowers blooming. Great location. Playground close for toddler. Unit had everything we could need. Owner went above and beyond to answer all questions promptly. Loved the movie room.
Perfect spot for a holiday getaway! The townhome is beautifully decorated and conveniently located to Harper's Ferry downtown. Very friendly and welcoming neighbors as well! Kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking essentials. And the landscaping surrounding the property is quite beautiful even in winter. Highly recommend if you're planning to visit the area for hiking/biking on the AT.
The house was perfect for a weekend getaway in Harpers Ferry. Very close to restaurants- could walk, but there are no sidewalks leaving the neighborhood so driving is probably safer! Host was extremely helpful and friendly. Would return!
We enjoyed our stay at the townhouse. We found the property to be very clean and very well updated. The furniture is very comfortable — especially the bed in the master bedroom. We did not use the other rooms. The kitchen had everything we needed in terms of appliances, glassware, plates, etc. The wifi worked well. Note to future visitors: the cell service in Harper’s Ferry is not good so wifi is a necessity. Download an offline map of the area if your phone allows that. Communication with the property owner, Paul, was good and he had everything set up for our stay. We brought our dog with us and found a lot of restaurants, breweries, and wineries and that allowed pets. Tons of hikes in the area too!
Very clean, newly renovated house. The owner was extremely responsive and wrote us immediately when we had trouble finding our code to get in the house (issue with our email not process). Very spacious for a family of 4. The downtown area is about a mile away so we drove and parked closer to the historic area (parking fills up quickly). After a day of hiking we decided to stay in and cook dinner. The kitchen had all the amenities and a wonderful tv room to kick back and relax by watching a movie together on a huge screen. Overall great experience!
The home is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We stayed with friends and felt like we had plenty of space. There were lots of cozy touches like throw blankets and ambient lighting. Each of the bedrooms had their own en-suite bathroom which was nice. The master suite bathtub was extremely relaxing after a long day of hiking and exploring the town. The kitchen is fully equipped and we were able to easily cook a few meals. I really appreciated the tea kettle. We found the location to be excellent and quiet. We even saw some deer in the woods behind the home. The daffodils and hyacinths were in full bloom and absolutely beautiful. It’s in close proximity to the town of Harpers Ferry and about 5 minutes from parking either at the train station in town or the visitors center. We really enjoyed eating at Snallygasters which is within walking distance. Overall we had a great stay and recommend this home.
Nice place for a weekend trip with friends. Enough space for everyone and just a short drive to Harper’s Ferry or Charles Town.
Owner was very quick to respond to booking a d questions.
We had a great stay in this townhouse. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, we spent most of stay in the townhouse and it was very comfortable. The couch was very cozy and the TV is awesome. The beds were very comfortable as well. Would stay here again when we visit Harper's Ferry.
The property was clean, the beds were very comfortable and the property is literally next door to Harpers Ferry which was our main destination. The host, Paul, was easy to contact and replied immediately. The beds were very comfortable and the outdoor deck is relaxing. We even saw a deer one evening while enjoying the deck.
Stayed at location for a funeral with other family from out of town. Home was very nice and had everything we needed. Would have been helpful to know that property was a three story townhome. Some difficulty getting up so many steps for some in our party. Overall however a very nice stay
We really enjoyed our stay with our daughter over the Thanksgiving Holiday.
We found the house to be as listed, clean, comfortable beds, everything you need for a great stay.
The only comment we have is a preference and not a concern, Paul has done so much to make the house feel cozy, inviting and what you would want on a nice stay. We just prefer less stuff in the open, it feels a bit cluttered in thee kitchen area for us. But it is a perfect get away and would come back again.
The townhouse is exactly as advertised. Beds were comfortable, WiFi worked well, and the neighborhood was very quiet. We did not receive check-in instructions from VRBO, so I had to contact the host, who sent me the information.
One kind of weird thing is that guests are not allowed to control the thermostat. If you want to change the temperature, you have to contact the host. Definitely a bit of an inconvenience, so we just lived with the setting.
We all loved staying here! The beds are super comfortable. It’s clean and modern. The wifi extender really helped because there’s not much signal there.
It’s very centrally located. We took day trips to the Udvar-Hazy Smithsonian Museum, Shepardstown, Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, lower town Harpers Ferry, and tubing on the Shanendoah river. There’s some charming restaurants and shops close by. Our family loved doing a virtual escape room at Rations Spaceport.
We also enjoyed spending time at the house watching shows on the giant TV and napping on the enormous couch.
All the linens were provided and are very nice. Check out instructions were clear. Paul was friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again if we visit the area in the future.
