"This motel is an excellent place stay if you plan to be in Mio. It is located close to restaurants and a grocery store. It is an older building and does have some small maintenance needs..,like drapes with missing hooks. The king room was clean, and included all the necessary amenities. We used the tub, shower, mini-fridge, microwave, ROKU TV, and heat during our 3 day stay. The king bed was spacious and comfortable, with good quality bedding. The room also included a large comfortable recliner chair, dresser space, and a counter with a bar sink. The pool/spa area was very nice, with a changing and bathroom available. Pool towels were provided. The motel ad mentioned that it included breakfast. Although the offerings were limited, they included coffee, OJ, packaged oatmeal, bagels (butter, cream cheese, PB, jelly), individual yogurts, and wrapped sweets. Brewed coffee was available throughout the day. Overall, it was a good choice for our stay in Mio, and we will stay there in the future."

"Needed a 3 bed, 2 bath lake courage close to home to enjoy a long fall weekend and found this gem just over 3 hours away. Loved the fire pits , kayaks, TV’s for sports and views out over the medium sized and very quiet lake. The cottage seemed bigger than the pictures showed, really enjoyed all the relaxing areas to sit and chill with the family. It’s nice having Tawas City only 15 minutes away for supplies and the General Store 2 minutes away for drinks. Thanks for sharing this cottage with us. Take a trip up to Lumberman’s Monument Park for awesome views"

"The rooms were very clean and the pool was just nice to relax in as we settled in or the night. The staff was all very friendly as well. Easy and convenient check in and out."
A Stream runs through it. Comfy little cabin with a stream by your bedroom.

"Amazing little cabin! It's barely out of town but sitting around the fire by the stream feels almost like the middle of nowhere. Really the perfect mix of up north feel while close enough you can grab a pizza or dinner in no time."

"My husband and I were grateful to find a last minute booking that allowed pets.The photos were a bit deceiving though as it seemed secluded but it is in pretty residential area. The space itself was worth the price nonetheless. Basic necessities were available. The screened in area to eat was adorable. The only two things I’d have to mention for the host/other potential stays were the cleanliness and the river access. There seemed to be previous dog hair/trash left over from other guests. When we attempted to access the river from the instructions left by the host, the dock was extremely narrow/overgrown and there was really no way to access the river. We intended to fish during our stay so we were a bit disappointed,But we overall were very content with everything else!"
