Family friendly home - Just a short walk to the beach!

Be one of the first guests to stay at this brand new, modern home in the quiet neighborhood of Watson Woods! This house has everything you will need (and more!) for your perfect weekend getaway. Whether you're looking for a summer escape filled with beaches and the lake, or a cozy winter retreat, this is the place for you.
Our home provides enough beds for 8 guests to sleep comfortably. There is also a twin-sized futon provided, a foldable children's crib, and an ample amount of couch space. We recommend staying between 8-10 guests, but space allows for up to 12 adults. There are two full bathrooms, both providing showers that accommodate the taller than average guest. Our master bathroom has a shower/tub combo, our upstairs bathroom has a walk-in shower. As well as open yard space, we also provide a firepit and grill for your FULL summer experience. There is also no need to worry about parking. The house provides driveway space that can fit at least 8 vehicles, or even more if you are any good at Tetris! You will find an abundance of entertainment provided throughout our home including games, puzzles, FREE cable and WiFi, and smart TV's in each room. On top of that there is a spacious screened in 3 seasons room, and an outdoor dining set on our large back deck.
We can talk about the house all day, but the location is also something to highlight. Less than a 10 minute drive to Downtown New Buffalo, walking distance to Harbert Road Beach, and a short drive to Warren Dunes State Park. The area is filled with wineries, breweries, golf courses, shops, and several great restaurants (many of which include take-out/ delivery options). We are also roughly an hour to downtown Chicago, and 45 minutes to the University of Notre Dame.
We would love nothing more than to share our home with you! Please keep in mind that our home is located in a quiet, family-friendly cul de sac and is meant for a relaxing getaway. Loud parties are not permitted.

Summer Fun

This property is brand new and was loaded with all the creature comforts of home. Minutes away from beautiful Cherry beach and Warren Dunes beach, it is also located next door to the bustling fun and restaurants of New Buffalo. We had an amazing stay!

Perfect Family Getaway

Family from 3 different states met here for a week of bonding and relaxation! Perfect location close to beach, shopping, and hiking. The house was very clean and the space was a great layout open and comfortable. Will stay here again in the future.

Great family gathering place

What a beautiful home to gather with family! It was so clean with special little touches to make you feel at home. The kitchen was well stocked with good quality utensils and cookware. The accommodations were comfortable, cozy and spacious. Jake responded promptly to any questions we had and check-in was very easy. We enjoyed our stay in the area with Warren Dunes and beach visits as well as towns within driving distance. Beautiful home to enjoy a summer gathering!

Family vacation

This is a lovely home. Plenty of room for 11 of us. Very clean and lots of kitchen amenities. The baby had an actual wooden mini crib with a good mattress which was great. We really liked the sunroom and had plenty of space for meals in the dining room. Great location. It is a ten minute drive to Warren Dunes state park so spent our beach days there. Also only 10 minutes to New Buffalo. Jake always responded promptly to questions. Definitely look forward to staying here again.

Family and Friend Weekend

We had a great time at this house. The house was perfect for our weekend visiting breweries and going to the beach. The house was well stocked, clean and the beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the screen room in the back where we can relax while watching the kids play close by in the back yard. Jacob was a great host and we hope to stay here in again.

What a GEM!!

Our large family stayed here together and we had a wonderful time! The house was beautiful and SO CLEAN! We loved the location and how close it was to Union Pier and New Buffalo. We also loved the proximity to the beach as well. The walk was enjoyable and easy but we did decide to drive when we were taking the kids along as we had two one year olds and the walk was a bit long holding them. Harbert beach was quiet and gorgeous. We spent hours each day there and went back for sunset each evening. The house itself was well stocked and very comfortable. You can tell that the host thought of everything. The porch quickly became our favorite place- everyone gravitating there each morning for coffee and games. We loved the property, the kids played in the yard, the deck was lovely, and the grill worked great. We’ve stayed at many Vrbo properties and we all agreed that this was one of the best. We can’t wait to come back! Jake was very responsive and helpful. The dow written guide inside the house answered any questions we had throughout the week. The beds were very comfortable. There were plenty of blankets and bath towels, although there were only 6 beach towels so we did have to head to Walmart in Michigan City for several more. Overall one of the best family vacations we’ve ever had. We can’t wait to come back next summer!

Great getaway!

We had 3 families full of cousins come and staff for a week. The location was awesome for kids to run around and play, the beach was super close and the scenery was BEAUTIFUL! Jake was very communicative and helpful, and the home was stunning. Fantastic property and fantastic hosts. Our only small complaint is that we ran out of hand soap, toilet paper and paper towels and needed to run out and buy some. No big deal in the scheme of things! Highly recommend this property.

Relaxing week in Southwest Michigan

Our expectations were exceeded by this property! It was perfect for our family of 4, plus 2 grandparents. The house was extremely clean and well stocked. We enjoyed our morning coffee in the sun room and the large living room sectional was big enough for all of us to enjoy a movie every night. It was a short drive to Warren Dunes State Park, where our family thoroughly enjoyed our beach time.

Weekend Trip

Clean and spacious home in a quiet location, with nice 10-minute walk to the beach. Beautiful walking and woods all around. Screened-in back porch and outdoor porch with grill off backyard for dining and relaxation. Short drive from both main strips of New Buffalo and Sawyer. Great spot, great host. Amazing place to stay!

This is such a gorgeous house that looks exactly like the pictures! The house was clean and so trendy! Really appreciated the kitchen being stocked with essentials. The beds are SO comfy. We had quick access to the beach and the house is located in a quaint and quiet little circle drive. Jake was quick to respond and check in when we had questions. Would highly reccomend staying here.

Perfect Spot

This was my first time ever booking with VRBO and Jacob made it easy! I was hosting my sisters Bachelorette party and I wanted everything to go smoothly. We had never been to this are so I was lost and needed some guidance on where to eat, explore and so on. Jacob answered ALL of my questions and he did it super fast...and I had a lot of questions. The place was the perfect spot to fit us 12 girls including three pregnant ladies comfortably! Even the neighbors were friendly! Overall we had an excellent experience and I highly recommend this location for your next large gathering.

So great!

Came to this brand new beautiful house for a bachelorette party and this was the perfect house! We didn’t even want to leave the house for our activities because of how great this house was. But we did, and it was easily accessible to anything we would want. Jake was very responsive and flexible, and there were even treats left in the house for us. Would definitely come back here anytime!

Five of us stayed at the house for a weekend and we were very impressed by how clean everything was, how modern everything was, and how many things there were in the home that we didn’t expect like condiments, coffee, etc. Our host was very communicative and the overall experience was excellent.
