Lovely place to stay. While you may find cheaper accommodation within Hanoi, if you want a comfortable bed, clean sheets, a soft pillow, air con that actually works, a HOT shower with great pressure and staff that are genuinely helpful and fluent in English... then it's worth forking out a little extra per night. We travelled through Vietnam for two months and while this was a few dollars more than anywhere else we stayed, it was MILES nicer. We had no issues while staying here, didn't have to lug our bags up 6 flights of stairs (they have an elevator would you believe it!) and had a wonderful breakfast each morning. All this in the centre of town, only a few blocks from the lake and museums.
