awful construction makes this hotel unbearable

Awful experience at this hotel. There is extremely loud construction going on next door (to the point of the walls shaking). And this is until 1am, the manager told us after we complained late at night. The facilities are run down and honestly not worth the money.

前日急に予約し、連れが先に帰ってしまうので、1人で宿泊しましたが、スタッフも優しく、清潔でした。朝ごはんはメインは注文式で、1人1人作ってくれます。空港までホテルから専属タクシーを安く出してくれるのも魅力的でした。立地もとても便利です。

Enchanté, d`avoir séjourné au Calypso hotel . Situation centrale .Chambre très spacieuse et très bien équipée . Connexion wifi excellente . Breakfast copieux et varié . super baza wypadowa

Fantastyczny hotel, przemiła obsługa. Jeszcze przed przyjazdem Johnny skontaktował się z nami, dopytać o szczegóły naszego przyjazdu i zaproponował transport z lotniska. Świetnie mówił po angielsku. Na miejscu czekał na nas duży pokój z balkonem. Pyszne śniadania. Hotel w centrum. Wszędzie blisko. Na miejscu można wykupić wycieczki. Personel chętnie udziela informacji o okolicznych atrakcjach! Polecamy!

Staff of this hotel very nice. Room & Bed very comfortable. Location is great. Many hidden nice foods around the hotel. About 25mins walking distance to old town. Breakfast is nice but not in buffet style. Overall great stay.

喫煙の部屋で予約したのに、喫煙の部屋は、別料金と言われた。 それから、2部屋予約で費用も前払い清算しておいたのに、1部屋と言われて、怒鳴ってやった。 それから、低姿勢になったが、やはりベトナムの安いホテルは、こんなところがいかんと思う。 女性の方とかは、やめておいたほうが無難です。 しかし、旧市街の好立地にあるので、便利ではある。 部屋は値段の割に広くてコスパはいいと思う。 朝ごはんは、オーダーできるのでいくら食べてもOK。 2日目、EVが故障で使用できなく、私たちは2階だから階段ですませたが、6階の人たちはしんどかったと思う。

Low cost hotel in Old Quarter. The location is OK - about ten minutes walk from Hon Keim lake. Issues on arrival with the safe and TV in my room. Eventually sorted the safe issue after about five attempts (safe was a very old version and staff seemed unsure). The TV wasn’t working at all - eventually fixed late on second day. The main thing here was the lack of any real interest to resolve the issue. Area around hotel isn’t great - although there. Are shops worth visiting down several of the side streets. Couple of convenience stores within about 5-10 minutes. Hotel room was clean and large by normal standards in Asia. My bed was two singles pushed together with a sheet over them. Bathroom water pressure wasn’t great - but just about sufficient for shower etc. Breakfast room staff were really helpful and friendly. Cassie on reception was also really helpful. Breakfast itself (free) was pretty basic but in line with other hotels I’ve stayed at in Vietnam. Fruit, cereal and eggs to order. Also have juices (can be freshly squeezed), tea and coffee. There are also Vietnamese options.

快適な滞在が出来ました。

色々と至れり尽くせりで、ホスピタリティに溢れた素敵なホテルでした。おすすめのお店やツアーを紹介してくれたり、ホテルが斡旋するものとは別のツアーで起きたハプニングに対しても色々助けてくれたり、このホテルを選んだおかげでハノイ滞在がより快適になった気がします。朝食のメニューが色々選べるのも良かったです。フォーが美味しかった♪ハノイを再訪する時はまた是非泊まりたいホテルですね！

Not fancy but quite adequate.

My room, one of three on the 4th floor, was windowless but newly decorated and cheerful. The hotel is a 20 minute walk to Hoan Khiem lakefront. Very nice staff. A modest breakfast was included in my tariff.
