"Expectations for hotels on Easter Island are adjusted accordingly due to location. Rooms and furniture are dated, but clean and well maintained. There were a couple of mosquitoes in the room, which is understandable as the hallways doors to the outside are alway open for fresh air. After our first night, we kept the air conditioning at the desired temperature when we left for the day - instead of turning it up a few degrees. This helped reduce the mosquitoes upon our return. Most of the staff were helpful and nice. Included airport transfer was very helpful. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and adequate, with kudos for having soup. There’s a convenient supermarket within 10 minutes walking distance. All in all, good value and choice for Easter Island, we gather. It looks like there are a few other choices with better (mainland) quality, but costing 2-3 times more."
