Cook in the high-end renovated chef's kitchen or watch a movie by the fire on a 75" TV, all with stunning views of the bay! Wake up to views from the plush, king-sized master bed without ever having to get up. If you enjoy majestic ocean views and simply like to walk down your steps to be on your own exclusive beach, this is your getaway. Not to mention views of the water from almost every room in the house The modern, open, coastal chic floor plan leads you from the luxury, chef's kitchen that comes fully stocked and includes high-end appliances to the living room with a comfortable sectional sofa that can be re-configured to the size of a full bed. Everything a chef needs to cook will be provided as we love to cook in our family too. Kitchen items include a blender, toaster, pots, pans, baking sheets, cutting boards, gas-range, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, knife set, air fryer, ice maker and lots more. In the living room there is also a separate wet bar for coffee and cocktails with a wine fridge and has a stand-alone ice machine so you never have to buy ice from the store again. We are coffee aficionados so we have a commercial 3 pot Bunn coffee maker as well as a nespresso machine, a milk frother, and a bean grinder. We also have cocktail glasses, shakers and everything else you'll need for your favorite evening drink. Step right from the cocktail/coffee bar straight to the deck with your drink to enjoy the sunrise or sunset. Choose from your favorite selection of board games. Game night on the water is just way more fun. The back deck is a massive space that has a fire pit with seating and a TV all under an enclosed roof so you can have fun outside rain or shine, any time of year. We also have a hot tub to wind down in the evening. These features make this a truly four seasons property. We have a gas grill for use by all guests as well and a dining table with seating for 8\. The main bedroom has a plush king-sized bed with views of the water while lying down. It has a desk for those working remotely as well and an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed also with views of the water. The third bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed that also has a twin trundle underneath for extra sleeping arrangements. This room also contains a crib for those traveling with little ones. All mattresses are luxury, memory foam mattresses that we purposefully selected based on past experiences. Avoid the Chesapeake tunnel, crazy crowds, prices, and tourist traps of Virginia Beach in this exclusive getaway on the Chesapeake Bay. The waves are calmer for little ones to swim, the beach is private and restaurants are within 3 minutes and groceries within 7 minutes. This is everything you love about the beach without all the things you don't like. Just over 30 minutes to go to the Virginia Beach Boardwalk if you are craving all the tourist attractions for a day. “Bay Bliss” is located on the private end of fabulous Buckroe Beach in historic Hampton, VA. Buckroe Beach is on the Bay and is a ¾ mile stretch of white sand beach with an abundant & diverse ecosystem of plants, birds, and sea life. Pods of migrating Bottle Nose Dolphins frequent the surf in front of the home. Bird watchers will delight watching the Brown Pelican, osprey and even the majestic Bald Eagle soar overhead at close range. The public part of Buckroe Beach is about 1.5 miles away and has its own boardwalk, pier, events and live music throughout the year. We use this as our own personal home as well and you will feel the pride we take in it unlike a typical Airbnb. The furniture is high quality and hand picked for our own use. We stay at the property frequently and are constantly monitoring what we can do better. Guests have access to the entire house other than just a few owners closets for supplies and owner's private items. Guests will be provided the following beach equipment: 5 sturdy beach chairs, kids toys, inner tubes, sports and more. The large, private driveway can hold up to 12 cars. But sitting in the hot tub under the moon with the waves crashing, was absolutely perfect. You can definitely get 2 families in this unit. King room with bath, queen room and a room with single over double bunks and a crib. Living room sofa becomes a bed. Walking the beach was so cool! There were many things to do and see in Hampton and also close enough to spend some time at Virginia Beach. The house had everything for our stay. Especially liked how the kitchen cabinets were labeled, so much easier to find things. Everyone loved the hot tub, relaxing listening to the surf on the deck and playing/resting in the sand under the house. When the tide was high, we just walked the short distance to the public beach which seemed more like a private beach since we usually had it all to ourselves. Kids really enjoyed flying their kites there. We all agreed this was the best vacation we had in years. Thanks for sharing your house with us. ##### Linda I. If you are looking for space, and privacy, this is the place for you. When the tide is out, you have your own beachfront getaway. The tidal clock in the house helps you plan for your day if you want to walk or sit out there. There is a ton of beachfront to walk on to search for all different types of shells, rocks, and sea glass. The house itself is clean beyond imagine, and comes supplied with everything you need should you forget something. PLENTY of beach chairs down below, and a vast supply of beach towels for your use. Beds are so comfy, and the place is decorated so tastefully. I can’t say enough! John is fantastic at promptly responding to anything you need, want, or have to ask about. I was in awe at how at home he made us all feel in their place. I am so glad I stumbled upon this gem of a beach house. We really appreciated the cleanliness and having a crib and beach toys on site. We loved the extra touches like plenty of detergent pods, trash bags, paper towels, sponges, soap, shampoo, etc. Even left us espresso pods and beans to grind. We loved that the beach was pet friendly. There was a fish monger close by that we went to multiple times (but bring your own big pot if you do your own boils!) We also enjoyed Fullers Raw Bar and the ice cream shop next door. Went to a few good breweries as well. Cute town, not a ton to do, but close enough to other areas if you are into leaving the house more, which we weren't. The only thing we wish we had known which wasn't in any reviews is that the house decks are really close together and the owner next door has 2 small dogs that constantly barked at us and our dog while we were on the porch (the best part!) and the dogs were never called inside or corrected. Very much so outside of the owners control, but something to be aware of if you are bringing your pet and dog barking bothers you. ##### Kara H. We’ve rented beach properties for many years and this is one of the absolute best. Location is prime and absolutely everything you need is provided as well as labeled. There is plenty of storage for personal belongings and food. It was clean, ready early and an owner who is quick to respond to any question. We are a family of four adults, one teen and were very comfortable. Watching ships, boats and dolphins from the covered deck was a great way to spend hot, lazy days of summer.
