"Such a serene and relaxing place to be. The cabin is warm and cozy even with the nonstop rain and breeze during our stay. It has ample space for multiple people and the beds are comfortable. We also appreciate having a kitchen we can make food in. The location is perfect for exploring the southern part of Lofoten. It is walking distance from the museums and wonderful walks in the area. However, because the cabin is also old, any light sleeper will have a problem with the roof being thin with all the rain and wind (didn’t bother us at all). Wish we could’ve stayed longer."

"We came in the off season (October)and it was a great value at that time. The staff were helpful and kind! We selected Garnbua and it had everything we needed for our stay. Parking was free. The only downside is the restaurant was closed for the off season."

Evening dining has limited variation for dinner choices (don't get the wrong impression, meals are excellent) but menu doesn't change so multi-day stay makes it tough. Otherwise, besides a very curt Russian waitress I very much enjoyed the multi day stay."

"Good location and convenient to shops and stores. Central and easy to drive to locations. Be mindful, there is a charge of 150Nok per day for parking. Make sure all payments are made within 48hrs else with car hire, you can get stung!. The hotel does not provide this information clearly. I was tokd I have 48hrs to pay after checkout! but this is not true! its 48 hrs to pay for each day of parking. Best to pay daily. Payments are made @ Autopay.io. I missed paying for first day and am now waiting for Avis who will charge me handling fee!"

"We stayed 3 nights in the 2 bedroom Stromoybua cabin at the lodge. A friendly staff at the lodge personally showed us inside of the cabin when we checked in. The cabin is roomy, modern and comfortable. It sits right along the water’s edge of the harbor with great view of the harbor. We were able to step straight out to the dock for a peaceful morning stroll. Breakfast was served in the lodge’s restaurant with great view of the water. The breakfast food selection was not as sumptuous as the other lodges that we stayed, missing our beloved Norwegian pancakes/waffles, but the service and quality of the food was good. We loved the Lofoten smoked salmon and brown cheese. There is also a locally produced fish liver oil available for tasting. The dinner was a highlight of the restaurant. We had the best tasting dinner at this restaurant for our whole trip in Lofoten. At around midnight on our last night at the lodge, we walked to the open area outside the main lodge building, it was very cold so we stayed in our car to keep warm. There were some light pollution from the lodge, but we was able see the aurora right from inside of our car. We highly recommend staying at this lodge."

"This hotel in Ure was the absolute perfect stop during my road trip through the Lofoten Islands. It felt like a true hidden gem tucked away from the busier spots, offering total peace and incredible surroundings. Everything about the property feels modern, sleek, and high-quality. The common areas were a huge plus—having access to full kitchen facilities allowed me to cook a cozy meal, and having laundry facilities available mid-trip was a lifesaver. The highlight had to be the morning host response: they brought a thoughtful, cute basket of breakfast right to my room, which was such a personal and welcoming touch. My only regret is that I didn't book more nights here. Highly recommend to anyone traveling through Lofoten!"

"Positive: the hotel was allocated in an old dock and our room faced the mountain and ocean which was very nice. Breakfast was quite good but not many hot food options. The bathroom was modern and has two shower points so it is a plus for couples! We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was quite good but pricey ( well nothing is not pricey in Norway!!) Negative: The bed was too soft and the bathroom sink was too shallow. The spout of the tap was too long and as a result it was very hard to wash your hands or use the sink without spillage. Our room was on the first floor and there is no lift."
