« Beautiful view and easy location to get to from the Ferry stop. Comfortable bed and appreciated the kitchen area. Basic amenities provided and great for our stay in Hallstatt. They approved an early check in which we were grateful for. The only note is the number and email sent to confirm our arrival time was not a functioning email or number so we didn’t know whether or not our host received our arrival time until we called a different number listed. »

« This place is just a place for sleeping. The good part is that the room is big for more than 4 guests. Parking space is available. But amenities are insufficient. For examples, there is no conditioner for hire and water temperature is low. Furnitures are a mixed bag. If not for on-site parking, I will try differently places for stay. »

« Me and my family stayed in this cottage for three nights in hallstatt. It was perfect and you had everything you need for a family in it. fully equipped kitchen coffee machine there is even a grill in the garden. enjoyed the view of the mountains around us and it was only 5 minutes walk to the famous hallstatt lake. very clean and cozy. the only issues I faced is the room downstairs have small beds that is not that comfy,and the internet is not that good I think mainly because we are in...

« Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. There was a misunderstanding regarding the parking arrangement, and when we tried to clarify and even compromise, the staff member at the reception (an older male) became very rude and aggressive. Instead of helping resolve the issue, he insulted us, mocked our English, and even threatened to remove us from the hotel. We found his behavior completely unacceptable and felt unsafe. Un souci au check out : l'hôtel n'avait pas eu les informations de paiement et nous demandait de régler la chambre déjà payée... Avec l'aide de l'opératrice de chat hotel.com et de l’hôtesse de l’hôtel (qui parlait français) cela a pu être réglé avec efficacité mais nous avons perdu 1/2h. A noter que le restaurant de l'hôtel est fermé le mercredi, mais il y...

« Bon établissement, un peu compliqué quand vous ne parlez pas la langue (carte pas en anglais non plus) mais le personnel fait l’effort de parler anglais. Pas de clim dans les chambres, en été ça peut poser problème pour certains, balcon fleuris toujours agréable (que vous pouvez laisser ouvert la nuit histoire de faire rentrer de l’air frais). La restauration est très bonne et la jeune serveuse et la dame sont très aimables. La literie est confortable, chambre spacieuse et salle de bain très...

"DÉÇUS. Rien ne correspondez à notre réservation… Nous avons logés dans un autre bâtiment à plusieurs centaines de mètres donc aucune commodité de l’hôtel réservé, bar, vue sur le lac et même le petit déjeuner où nous avons été une seule fois le jour du départ. Les chambres devais êtres insonorisés, avec chauffage individuel, mais rien de tout cela, et en plus, vous avions deux petites couettes d’un mètre pour un grand lit, une horreur, surtout que les chambres n’étaient pas bien chauffées. Douche sans porte !!! Une note de deux étoiles, tout simplement, parce que le personnel a tout fait pour notre arrivée tardive pour nous servir un plat chaud, alors que vous avions beaucoup de retard avec les problèmes d’annulation et de retards de trains. Sinon j’aurais mis une note dune seule étoile. Je déconseille ou il faut bien demander d’avoir l’hôtel principal et non pas une dépendance."

"Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. There was a misunderstanding regarding the parking arrangement, and when we tried to clarify and even compromise, the staff member at the reception (an older male) became very rude and aggressive. Instead of helping resolve the issue, he insulted us, mocked our English, and even threatened to remove us from the hotel. We found his behavior completely unacceptable and felt unsafe. Other reviews mention rudeness also. While Obertraun itself is wonderful, with many small B&Bs, we would not stay at this hotel again."

"Hôtel vraiment haut de gamme avec un spa a la vue incroyable. Cependant le restaurant au premier étage n est pas terrible, temps d attente très très long entre les plats et pour prendre la commande, plus de 2h30 sur place. Je ne recommande pas. Je ne peux cependant pas enlever d étoile car l hôtel est vraiment bien. "
