We enjoyed the stay. The instructions are very easy to follow. The apartment is very nice and clean with all we need. The location is very convenient.
We will surely come back.
Thanks for hosting us.
Great location. Comfy beds. Really nice rooftop patio. A parasol for shade would be appreciated. Apartment not very soundproof at all. Could hear elevator knocking sounds through living room wall. Could hear slightest noise in rest of apartment from bedrooms, even with door closed. Underground parking a nice perk. Very tight spaces though, so if you have a large vehicle, I would not recommend it. Bathroom sink clogged, dishwasher broken for most of our stay, dining room chairs broken or unstable. Owner could have reduced price or given us extra late checkout time for free as compensation. This wasn’t offered but we also didn’t ask for it. We got a good deal because it was off season. I would have been disappointed with quality at the full summer rate.
My partner and I were in Halifax for a short vacation. Jeff’s space is bright, clean, and spacious. Super comfy beds and soft linens. We sat in the sun on the huge patio and had some beverages before dinner. The underground parking is such a bonus when looking for accommodations in Halifax. The building currently has a micro-brewery in one of the street level businesses which was so great. Halifax’s North End has a lot to offer including the Narrows Public House and Almonac restaurant! And is a reasonable walking distance to downtown and the waterfront. (2.5 k)Another review mentions the sound of the elevator, which you can hear in the living room due to the proximity to the elevator mechanical room, but it’s not disturbing and once you know what it is, you stop hearing it. And you can’t hear it in either bedroom. The unit is very quiet despite being near Robie St. Our only feedback for this excellent space would be the investment of a more comfortable, even larger sectional sofa. If you were housebound due to weather or wanting to hangout and take advantage of the huge TV, be better on a more comfy couch.
Everything was well explained from check in to check out. They checked in to ensure all was well. It is beautifully laid out and close to all the down town tourism stuff. We made use of the outdoor patio nightly. Had some local beer from the business next door. Even saw a fireworks show from the patio! Would definitely book again.
