The house is very clean and hygienic, and more than big enough for 4 people. We found it cosy, and the atmosphere is really heartily and welcoming. The bathroom is a luxury. Therein is 1 toilet (PS. not completely sound-proof, which led to some humour between the four of us!). The kitchen has everything you may need for cooking, in plentiful. All looked anew to me, everything functioned very well. Some gadgets are present, as if you already live in the next decennium... All rooms are on the ground floor, easy for elderly. The place is also perfect for relaxing: garden, many seats in the garden, books (German language), gigantic flat screen, good WiFi, plenty of space inside and outside. The owners live nearby, which was pleasant as we could observe the real life and have a chat, and we could enjoy the service of bread and milk being delivered. (Comfortable, as I have seen no shops in the village.) I noticed a lot of playthings for children in the garden, and friendly as Johann & Ilona are, I'm sure that the little ones you might bring with you will be allowed to make use of them. It ' s quiet during day & night (and well dark in the bedrooms, good curtains!). And then the surrounding landscape, I didn't know the Eiffel was so beautiful in summertime. Während es im Elternschlafzimmer einen großen, begehbaren Kleiderschrank gibt, finden sich im Kinderschlafzimmer diverse Spiele, die sich allerdings eher an Kinder ab Grundschulalter richten. Dafür steht im kombinierten Wohn-/Essbereich eine Kiste mit allerlei Spielzeug und Malsachen für kleinere Kinder. Auch das Badezimmer ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es gibt sogar extra Kinderhandtücher. Wer Netflix o.ä. schauen möchte, sollte sich einen Streaming-Stick von zu Hause mitbringen, da der Fernseher hier keine Option bietet. Der WLAN-Empfang ist sehr gut, die Geschwindigkeit der Internetverbindung reicht, um ruckelfrei eine Serie zu schauen. Allerdings ist der Aufbau von Webseiten manchmal sehr träge, auf dem Smartphone habe ich daher lieber das Mobilnetz genutzt. Immerhin gibt es auch hier guten Empfang. Im Außengelände gibt es noch einen privaten Abenteuerspielplatz. Ein großer Hund läuft frei herum, der aber gut hört und nicht bedrohlich wirkt. Insgesamt waren wir überaus zufrieden und haben die Wohnung bereits erfolgreich weiterempfohlen. ##### Stephan W. Ruhe einer Ferienwohnung mit dem Service eines High-Class-Hotel. Tolle Einrichtung, ein Traumvon Dusche, tolle Betten mit durchgehender Matratze, also ohne sogenannte "Besucherritze" (!) She was 11 months old during our stay and could savely play everywhere in the house, with toys that are already there, but also outside in the beautiful garden. Ilona and Johann are really nice and warm people. Ilona made sure we had a really carefree holiday and gave us some nice tips about the area. Fantastische ontvangst met heerlijk gebakken cake en super lieve gastheer en gastvrouw .Prachtige inloopdouche . Als je luxe, rust en het thuisgevoel wil ervaren moet je hier echt naar toe. Wij gaan zeker nog een keer (keren) terug. Ook echt fijn is de broodjesservice waar je zelfs de deur niet voor uit hoeft. Voor mensen die in een rolstoel zitten is het een heel fijn aangepast huis. Kortom een echte aanrader. Ligt ook heel gunstig tov grote plaatsen als Prum en Gerolstein. ##### Aad B. Wir wurden herzlich von Frau und Herrn Heck empfangen – die übrigens für einen netten Plausch und Ausflugstipps immer bereit sind. Zur Begrüßung gab es einen leckeren (selbst gebackenen) Kuchen und Teddybären für unsere Kinder. Die Wohnung ist top ausgestattet, sehr sauber und hat eine tolle Lage. Es hat uns Vieren sehr gefallen und bei Gelegenheit würden wir sehr gerne wiederkommen dürfen. Dann schreiben wir auch ins Gästebuch. ;) Kurzum: Der Urlaub beginnt mit Betreten des Hofes, es fehlt an nichts für einen entspannten Aufenthalt. Eine klare Empfehlung unsererseits. Die Ferienwohnung von Familie Heck lässt keine Wünsche offen. Sauber und großzügig, eine perfekt ausgestattete Küche, die zum Kochen einlädt. Für unsere kleine Tochter stand ein Hochstuhl, Reisebettchen und Spielzeug bereit. Es war auch sehr angenehm, dass wir kein Bettzeug und/oder Handtücher mitbringen mussten, da alles vor Ort war.
