Gunung Besar Hantu Tours and Activities

We stayed 5 nights in a 2 bedroom Deluxe Twin Apartment on the 13th floor. My first impression was one of disappointment as the 'master' bedroom was actually where the twin beds were with a view and the double bedroom was a box 'room' as narrow as the bed and shoehorned in between the kitchen and bathroom, so no windows, bedside tables, clothes storage, nothing! There was only 1 bathroom and this was accessed with a Jack and Jill door from both bedrooms. In the big wardrobe in the twin bedroom were 4 hangers so for 4 adults travelling there was nowhere to unpack. However the apt was clean and fully functional for what we needed. Location near the KLCC / Petronas Towers was great and there were 2 small supermarkets underneath. Easy-ish to walk from the subway with suitcases (10mins) although KL pavements are quite a challenge! Pools were fantastic but there were no towels. The infinity pool (floor 69 - but really 55) wasn't that big and mainly full of people taking photos but for a quick dip in the unheated (?) water was fun. The main pool on floor 6 was amazing and enormous, equally chilly and shared by the 2 Star Suites apartment blocks and also Ascot apts. There is a restaurant by the main pool which was great for an easy meal and the bar on the top floor by the infinity pool seemed to also serve food which looked nice. I would stay again but probably have 2 x 1 bedroom apts as did feel cheated by the 2nd bedroom. However for the price it was a great base!

Turned up at the property and the manager told me that there was a power failure and the room wasn’t fit for stay. He offered to give me a much cheaper room in another building across the road that had one room instead of 2. I refused and it was a big hassle to find another room last minute at 8pm at night. I strongly do not reccomend staying here unless you want to face uncertainty of turning up to your accommodation and being told it is unfit for stay. The manager’s name was super unhelpful. Didn’t turn up it person but rang me on WhatsApp when I was in the lobby to share the bad news.

Excellent stay in Kuala Lumpur. The apartment was spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the staff provided outstanding service throughout our stay. The facilities were excellent, everything worked perfectly, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We had no issues at all and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended.
