We were juat steps from yhe water and there may have been 5 other people near us at most. Most of the time there was nobody. Great place and excellent at communicating with us. The beds were comfortable, and the cleverly added 1/4 bathroom was helpful with multiple people staying. We spent most of our time while at the house outside on the deck. Everything was spotless and the layout of the home was perfect for our group of 6 adults with plenty of room and privacy. We loved sitting on the deck listening to the waves and there is only a few steps to the beach via a small private path. The house is a short drive to restaurants, shopping, and many activities. The kitchen is stocked with anything you will need to cook an easy breakfast or a 5-course dinner. The beds are comfortable and feel so good after a hard day at the beach. This is what everyone comes for. You can see and hear the gulf from the very large back deck. The beach is steps away over a short dune. And the best part it is almost deserted, except for the occasional walker. Unlike the huge crowds you will find closer to GS. Even though it is farther away from the hustle and bustle it is close enough that if you are sick of the beach or need a break it is an easy drive to hit some of the fantastic restaurants or do some souvenir Shopping.I would highly recommend this property The house, beach and managers are all great! Even with the rain from the Tropical Storm, the view from this property was beautiful. It is located in the nicest part of Gulf Shores with panoramic views of the ocean from the back and beautiful views of the bay in the front. The house has its own, large private beach just steps away! The interior of the home was absolutely beautiful and setup for cooking. Becky the property manager was the best hostess.
