Beachfront & Dog Friendly! Welcome to Sun Kissed East! This cozy, small dog friendly Fort Morgan duplex beach cottage is the perfect, affordable choice for your Gulf front vacation. Sun Kissed East is located in the family friendly neighborhood of Surfside. You'll have easy access to world class restaurants and great shopping if you choose to make the scenic 15-minute drive to town. But you'll find tasty options close by should you choose to stay close to home. You'll want to spend as much time as possible on the new, expansive 10'x30' deck. The owners have also invested in desirable poly-wood deck furniture, so you'll have ample, comfortable seating. Be sure and catch the sunset each evening. One is more spectacular than the last! If you've never stayed in a beachfront property, you'll appreciate the convenience of being able to return to the house in just seconds. And no packing up the car to drive to the beach! It has an open floor plan with a comfortable living area where you get that million-dollar beach view! You'll find counter stools for dining and a full kitchen for preparing simple meals. The master bedroom features a king bed w/ private 1/2 bath where you can wake up to that beautiful Gulf view. The second bedroom has a full bed and a twin over twin bunk and the home has 1 full hall bath and 1 half bath in the King room. It just doesn't get any better! Great views and just steps to the surf. Need more room? Sun Kissed West, right next door is also a rental option. \* Renter must be at least 25 years of age. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Fort Morgan Located a scenic 15 miles from Gulf Shores, you'll find everything you need close at hand. Dollar General and Sassy Bass Market are just a few miles away and have all the basics you might need. There are several restaurants nearby offering a variety of tasty dishes. Tacky Jack's, Sassy Bass (2 locations), Coast and brand-new Jesse's (opening soon) to name a few. Some venues even offer live, local entertainment. Fort Morgan fishing pier is now open, and anglers will have access to convenient inshore fishing and the abundant species locally available. Be sure and visit nearby Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge with over 7,000 acres of coastal habit. You'll be able to hike through the preserve and observe local flora and fauna. There are 4 trails, varying in size and terrain and you'll definitely want to make time to visit this natural oasis. Beautifully decorated and well furnished!! Pet friendly right on the beach. This time of year the peninsula and the beach are very quiet which was nice. The property manager, Greg, is very responsive. We had a small issue with the TV in the bedroom. He came over promptly, introduced himself, and took care of the problem. We had beautiful weather, we were directly on the private beach, and it is a quiet neighborhood. Ideal for a quiet getaway with our family. The kitchen was a little small for our growing family, but we knew this going in. We brought most of our things to cook most meals, but could have used simple things like cooking spray or aluminum foil which we forgot, and a few more sets of cutlery. There were spices available and plenty of utensils to cook with. The hosts are very helpful and extremely responsive, with restaurant recommendations and anything else you may need. It is a very quiet location in a secluded community. The house itself is nicely updated, has all the essentials and just enough space for sleeping, eating, or watching a movie. If this was cleaned it may help with the ac. Also under the couches and beds are also very nasty. You should purchase a swifter sweeper that would help getting under those places. The reason I noticed under the beds and couches is my dogs ball rolled under there so I got down to find it and was surprised by the nastiness. ##### Janie P. It definitely had a musty odor to it and could use a few hygiene updates (new shower curtain liner - pink mold present, fridge/freezer smelled of fish - more arm and hammer boxes or changed more often). The mattresses were on the firmer side but plenty of beds and pillows provided. An umbrella for the patio would be my only suggestion but maybe its not feasible. The chairs on the patio were nice and comfortable. The chairs down below were broken and cracked but we were thankful for them to have some shade. ##### Lacey H.
