The hotel was centralized, quiet and clean, staff were nice and helpful. Hotel could benefit from some upgrades but overall I'd stay at the hotel again. Only advice is beware of the tours you book at the hotel,they are not as great as ones you find on expedia, viator etc. Also, hotel restaurant was great for a quick breakfast but please explore if you want more delicious meals.

This hotel is in a great location for exploring all the joys of centro Guadaljara. The room had some minor issues, floor damage, but for the most part was great. The only two knocks, one minor, is that the staff seemed a bit pushy regarding tips. Also the photo that shows the rooftop isn't overly accurate. While they could setup the roof in that fashion there were a couple of small tables and chairs. It wasn'\t a location that you'd really want to have your breakfast or supper as we thought you might.

This hotel was great ! The location is so close to the main tourist points in Guadalajara Jalisco . The staff was so friendly and always ready to assist your needs. It’s quite and enjoyable always from all the city noise I loved it and plan on staying there again ! Very colonial and culturally rooted !

It was okay, but when we ask for ice we had to go to receptionists to get the ice. They never called for to let us know the guy tour was here. So we had to get a taxi and pay when we had pay the tour trip. The location in the historic center is great.

Everything was great here. From the hidden pool to the roof top that has a remarkable view of the chirch tower next door. I would definetly stay at this place again

Excellent value. Can’t beat location in center of historical center. Easy access to hop on/off bus, Uber, metro, or walking around. Older historical hotel with great terrace. Felt safe, although didn’t walk side streets at night. Daily cleaning, big room, in room safe. Only issue was slow draining water in shower but not really a problem for us. Lovely staff. Highly recommend.

Very nice hotel , the staff was very welcoming and professional. The valet parking comes in handy when staying in the center of the city since its really busy and hard to find parking outside in the street.Rooms are clean and they have a nice rooftop view over the city. Would recommend to anyone trying to explore the city , everything is within walking distance and very safe with many options for food shopping and other activities.

Hotel De Mendoza is well located if you want to explore the main part of the city. It is well kept and the staff are welcoming and accommodating to one's needs. It has a wonderfully view of the Centro and Catedral.

I have spent the last 30 years traveling and this was by far the worst hotel stay I have had ... I had my confirmation number and my Expedia receipt showing the I had pre-paid but they still insisted on charging me again for my two night stay. I contacted Expedia and the following day they refunded me the second charge. Skip the hotel food ... There are much better options within a ten minute walk. When we checked out, the valet brought my rental car out and there was a large dent in it. It matched the concrete shelf on the support posts perfectly. The manager and the front desk clerk both agreed (I had pictures from the rental company with no dent). They took my information, I filled out paper work describing the damage, everyone took pictures, and was told I would receive information on the insurance in a day or two. Nothing came and I reached out via email and phone for the next week daily. No call back, no email back ... Just ridiculous behavior from business. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here. There is a Hilton by the church.
