Beautiful and Peaceful Home in the Best Area of Guadalajara
¡Bienvenidos!
Our home is a peaceful and joyful oasis in the midst of a very desirable and lively neighborhood of Guadalajara. This neighborhood is great for working or relaxing, or a little bit of both.
Our house has two bedrooms. One room has a double bed with a bathroom across the hall, and the other is the master bedroom with a king size bed and attached bathroom. Off the master bedroom is a small garden with a tiled fountain and a woven hammock. Also in the home are two sofa beds, and a desk to accommodate any remote work needs. A comfortable living room is at the front of the house and is decorated in a tasteful modern Mexican fashion; it is a breath of fresh air and is always an inviting place to read a book or take a nap. The spacious dining room is close at hand and easily seats six. A practical and roomy kitchen connects to the living room and is soaked in sunlight year round. Up the spiral staircase is a delightful rooftop lounging area with several Acapulco chairs and plenty of potted cactuses, a perfect spot to stretch in the morning, get some sun during the day, or to wind down in the evening with a fire and a glass of wine.
Parking is never a problem because below the home is a gated parking spot for one SUV or two small economy size vehicles.
With an abundance of coffee shops, boutiques, and restaurants of many different kinds at a walking distance, it is the perfect place to get a feel for Mexico's rich, colorful, and tasty culture. We invite you to enjoy Casa Colomos for as long as you’d like to stay.

Charming Providencia Home

Adorable little house, close to everything.
Walking distance to restaurants, pharmacy, supermarket and spa. Quiet neighborhood. Felt very safe. Loved it. Would do again.

La mejora visita a Guadalajara
We stayed in Casa Colomos upon our move to Guadalajara as a temp place before we moved into a permanent one. We had visited GDL before. We knew we wanted to be in Providencia near Terrenova where there is such a variety of restaurants, beautiful parks, easy living and great access to Colonia Americana, Bosque Colomos, and busses or ubers to explore the city. We also knew we needed enough space for our family. The layout, flow, and spaciousness of Casa Colomos is tough to gauge through photos. There are high quality sliding doors and screens in just about every room. We are cooks and the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking home meals. The primary bed/bath is large and overlooks the gorgeous garden. The breeze blew in and we hardly needed to use the air conditioners at all (which they do have in every room-and AC is not a given in all GDL rentals). The primary shower/bath is huge and with the natural light and hanging plants was luxurious. The second bedroom was just right for our kids. Plenty of closet space, comfortable beds, and large windows with blackout shades. The living/dining area is large and comfortable. The space is impeccably decorated. The hostess is an artist & the home is clearly decorated by an artist. Each light fixture, piece of furniture, wall collage of art, area rug, and potted plant is carefully placed. Paty greeted us & was welcoming & responsive throughout our stay. Casa Colomos is an absolute dream! We will recommend to family & friends who visit us!
